Doe the Freedom of speech give us the right to offend? Do you support the freedom of speech, even if it may offend someone?

How do you deal with topics or speech you find offensive?

What's the difference between free speech and hate speech? Aren't they the same thing but you just find one that doesn't agree with your view?

What Orwell exposed in Nineteen Eighty-Four was neither right nor was it left. Reading the book (Sometimes with the help of another) one comes to the conclusion that Right and Left are just two illusionary positions to keep the masses polarised and thinking each other is the cause of their woes. And meanwhile for the trouble makers (architects of this chaos) it's business as usual.

One thing I'll say is that with the absolute disgrace that uncouth (some say pig of a man) Trump is, I could imagine if there was a way Orwell could come out of his grave to express disgust he would!

People thought nothing could surpass the arrogance and dishonesty of Clinton and then along came Bush. Well, words can never fully describe the damage he did.. And when there was the big let down with Obama "Yes we can" which translated = "Yes we can say we can and that's all we'll do to improve things". But then along came Trump. and as I have stated  before, I never trusted anything about him. How the heck did something as crazy as that happen? Surely it was an insane dream. well,  people do wonder.

Ron Paul and Bernie Sanders are two men with at least some decency. There was  a major effort to make sure that they never had the chance to be prez. 

This guy in office now IMO will be more of the "same old".

Ron Paul definitely qualifies as old. He's 85!

He also is a libertarian. Read up on it. It's as close to anarchist as the American system allows.
