No, people give them to me.
It's really good how they go to the trouble of scratching the silver stuff off, first, so I'll know if it's a winning ticket or not, right away.

Once in a while I buy them, got tired of never winning.
A friend of a friend got one with a card, they won $100,000
They scratched it in front of the giver and went halves. It was the best Christmas card they had ever received.

It is funny, because I know the friend of the friend and was at their house with our mutual friend and somehow scratchies came up in the conversation and I said I hardly buy them now because no one ever wins on those things and that is when she said didn't you hear what happened to me............. Our mutual friend didn't want to spread her friend's private business so I didn't know and was shocked and happy for her. $50,000 is a great prize.
I play set for life but still waiting for a big prize lol

that is fair enough of wanting to keep it private
i don't play lotto , the OH has his weekly tickets in , including powerball.

My other half plays too, the biggest prize was $1,000 but that was more than 10 years ago now. A family member won $5000
last year in a syndicate.

those realy big wins (millions) can cause more misery than happyness for so many reasons mostly family and friends jealousy and
those winners that are realy silly and let them adversise it on tv !!! imagine the hangers on they get (mostly overseas winners i think do that)
a few thousand $s win would be exciting but millions no thanks
hubby gets a lotto sometimes and if one ever wins we are going to give half to the hospital that saved our baby when she was born
