This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation

A bit of light hail came through, in the middle of the day.
There's not enough to stay on the ground in anything but a sludgy state - there'll be no "Winter wonderland" photos coming out of this, ha ha.
The birds love it, though...
I'm standing out there questioning my good judgement, as the temperature had dropped a good few degrees in a matter of minutes, while the birds are literally having a wild time.
So I thought I'd stick around to watch... ha ha.
The galahs were hanging upside down, wings spread, from the arch and the tree next to it, shrieking excitedly and not quite spinning, call it turning round and round, in circles...
And the cockatoos... There's one lying face down, spreadeagled on top of a wattle tree, out the front. I don't think he's had this much fun in ages, ha ha.
I don't see the attraction, myself, in getting cold and wet, but each to their own, ha ha.

Twenty minutes later and I've gone up the road...
Nothing to speak of in the rain department, and the hail had moved on, which was a relief...
All I had to do now was contend with the snow, ha ha.
That, and the idiots who can't drive with their lights on, but the less said about that, the better...
I get back to the house and there's a currawong sheltering under the eaves, on the bird perch.
Bright move, it might not be the warmest place, but at least it's dry.
Over on the fence, there's a sparrow perching on a twig, under the horizontal bar.
Dry enough, he'll do...
It reminds me, I must take to that bird house I built ever so long ago, the one that looks "picture in a magazine perfect", but might as well be a house brick for all the use it is to the birds, ha ha.
Some modification may be required... ha ha.
So, it snowed.....
I bet there's a little possum who cuddled up very closely to Mum, today, ha ha.
It hailed, too, and rained, after a fairly pleasant sunny morning.
Look out, Melbourne, we're vying for your "Four seasons in one day" title", ha ha.
