The weatherman says it'll go down to minus 4 tonight.
I'll take that as an estimate, ha ha.
When Takeaway comes down at 9 in the evening and her pouch is already bulging, I'm prone to thinking that it's going to be a cold one, ha ha.
I went to refill one of the bird baths and mister cheeky wattlebird got there first...
I'll stand on the edge, and have a drink...
Then I'll have another drink...
Then I'll hop round to the side... and have a drink...
Then I'll hop into the bird bath and stand there, belly deep in the water before I say "Were you in a hurry to refill this? Too bad, cos I got here first... ha ha ha!".
Did I say he's cheeky? ha ha.

Good morning to all .... 
It feels like the middle of the night and it's not even 9am yet on this beautiful frosty morning.
Thank goodness for the weekend (maybe)! Tomorrow, there is a quilt exhibition in the city so instead of doing what I should be doing, a whole army of us are going to that, to heck with everything else ... 
There will be lots to see, special stalls with quilting goodies/accessories to look at and perhaps buy a little something, then we'll escape and have lunch together .. make a lot of noise discussing what we've seen etc. We'll probably even go back and start again ... 
, it's not often we have such a wonderful event like this here.
We gave Wesley and Warf a new cardboard box to play with .. so far, they've been 'surfing' it up and down the corridor with much energy and many decibels during the night ... but what fun they're having together, it doesn't take much to amuse fun loving cats does it?
Hope you all are going to have a really nice weekend too? It's probably a lot warmer on the mainland than it is here but hey, we can still "smell the roses".
