This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation

Essendon's Five Mile Creek in Melbourne turns fluorescent green from plumbing dye
But don't stop with the headline, read a little further down, and there's what happened to Edgars Creek, in Coburg North, Melbourne...
What can I say but Eek! The Creek!! ha ha....
All boring old Canberra can ever boast is lakes that host blooms of blue-green algae, which is neither particularly blue, or green, but is noxious, none the less...

I should say, further to that story, Strewth!
Neon green plumber's dye...
I suppose you could dye a plumber neon green, if they were a hard core Canberra Raiders fan, that is... ha ha...

I don't think I'm the only one who's felt a little bit bored over these past few weeks.
Now that the restrictions are easing - groups of up to twenty gathering together at a time could be allowed by the end of the month, I'm suddenly finding things I could go out and do...
Like visit the Museum of Australian Democracy, at Old Parliament House, where this piece of memorabilia is on display...
That takes me back, ha ha...
Well, it certainly feels like it's time... ha ha...
I should add the local zoo to my list, too...
If nothing else the animals there will be amused by seeing someone other than the staff, for a change, ha ha...
Playing the tourist and never having to leave town, that sounds ideal, to me ha ha.
It's my kind of holiday - where I get to see the sights and sleep in my own bed at the end of the day...
No phrase books, no guide books, no passport required, no having to worry about traveller's cheques or the fluctuations in the exchange rate... Could it get any better? ha ha...
I've always thought of "See Australia First" a a bit of an advertising gimmick, but you know, the idea's beginning to grow on me... ha ha...
As with everything else, I'll see how I go with it...
I'll have to give the piggy bank an extra hard shake, and get out there and see a bit of what's on offer.

I suppose a suitably sarcastic comment on that would be that "At least she can breathe easy..."....
Unlike those poor souls who get a "mild case" and then face months of debilitation...

To quote from the article - "It gives you some of the symptoms that are very similar to chronic fatigue but I am hesitant about calling it that,".
I haven't made it this far without my readiness to laugh at adversity.
You might think I'm being flippant, but this is how I cope, have coped, and, dammit, intend to keep on coping.
Smile, and stay well, Dear readers.
