This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation

I was talking to an owl that lives hereabouts and I asked it if the recent rain had made it difficult for it to get out and go looking for "that other special owl", or was it too wet to woo...?

Piglet and Magellan.
I wrote their names on their bases, but not the date they were made, so I'll have to say they're old, ha ha.

This macaroni's too big... Says Father magpie - you can't get a decent beakful.
Thank you, noted, I'll get onto remedying the problem later this evening, so there will be a fresh supply ready for the morrow, I say, tugging my forelock and backing away with due deference, ha ha.
This macaroni's just right... says the crow, who almost didn't let me get away from the table before he was on the branch above, eyeing it off.
Did somebody say Wild bird?
We'll be on first name terms by the next full moon, at this rate, ha ha.
I've been raised with Anglo/European folk mythology, and crows are not well regarded.
This is where my upbringing and my belief clash, because I don't see him as "the enemy".
At the very least, he's "just another spirit", he's part of a larger jigsaw; without him there's a gap, with him, the picture is whole.
Regardless of whether or not he is an evil creature, he is a necessary evil, ha ha.

Thanks, Tas. 🙂
They're, at a rough guess, 3 inches tall; sort of Christmas tree decoration size.
They're another example of things that I made with the good intention of selling them at a craft fair, but once they were made I liked them too much, so I kept them, ha ha.
