Lack of assistance from Ebay support for changing from and business to an individual

I am not happy with the service Ebay is providing as Ebay is happy to move a user from an individual account to a business account without any problems. But not willing to move a business to an individual account. I was moved to a business account and now I wish to move my account back to an individual account as I no longer have a business name and ABN. I have been informed that I need to create a new Ebay account and setup a new store then add all my 255 items in my current Ebay store. This is a very time consuming process which could take me 2 to 3 weeks to complete and I will loose all my current ratings, history and selling details records which I have built up over the 16 years as a member. Can Ebay please assist as I don't feel that Ebay is providing a service I am and have been paying for. if you can move a user from individual to Business it should be just as easy to move them from Business to individual account. II have been provided a complains number from your staff member Thea. can you please have someone assist me on making this a simple process please. I am happy to provide all validation details requires. Regards Tony

Ebay does not change personal accounts to business accounts.  That is obviously a choice you have made at some point.

Now for the kicker, it is impossible to revert from a business account to a personal account.

Once you've changed to a business account, you may need to submit additional verification information. If we need to verify any information, we'll send you an email and place a banner in Seller Hub letting you know what to do next.

Please be aware that once you've upgraded your personal account to a business account, it won't be possible to revert back to a personal account.

So you will have to create a new personal account and close your business account, to continue to operate on ebay.    If you continue to operate as a business account, you are likely to only create far bigger problems for yourself.

You will also have to change bank accounts for receiving funds.
