I won an item from an international seller. When I got the invoice the postage had increased by more than triple the amount to €30. I still have the original postage amount of €9 showing in my watch list. I emailed the seller and she replied  that €9 was for Europe. Orderd and paid for item on 11th November and have received an email from ebay stating that parcel has been shipped and that tracking number is :   60717105909092 and that the estimated delivery 16/11/15.   Well on the 17/11/15 the parcel has still not arrived and when I type the tracking number into Australia Post it comes up as no event found and to me that means it has not been sent.     Please advise immediately what has happened.  Not happy.  THis is only the 2nd or 3rd time I have used ebay but I am after doubts.     Sharyn Bartlem ... Item is marked as paid - yes Option comes up to create postage label - yes Edit the address because the buyer inout his address wrong in the first place - yes Can I print the label now - no Why? The error message at the top of the screen says the item has not been paid - ah, yes it has How do I know - does it matter? If the buyer paid me in enough clams to cover the actual price, it does not matter how it was paid. Just because the buyer did not use check out, and I marked it as paid... I have been a regular eBay user for a few years I recently purchased an item *removed*, the items shipping price said $11 then once I had committed to buy the shipping fee went to $72 !!!! I wrote to them to ask if it was a mistake and they solely put all the blame on eBay services saying it was a fault on eBay that it did not display correct shipping fee and it's not there fault. They also informed me I should buy from their website as the shipping fees are cheaper on it. In all my purchases I have never ever had to pay such a high fee unknowing until after committing to a purchase it was very deceiving, and as it's never happened befor I don't think this is an issue of eBays but that of the seller!! To make it even worse when the item arrived it was different to the image that they had used to sell it. I thought I had brought a doll wearing blue dress and sandals the doll arrived in a wollem jumper and pants. I found it very strange that *removed *put the fault of huge shipping fees that is not displayed until after pressing purchase as eBays fault ? I feel they are being deliberately deceiving and how can the same item same shipping be cheaper from there site and cost soooo much more when buying from eBay?  ... View more

I sold 2 items and combined postage, which obviously the buyer committed to pay.  I purchased a pre paid satchel because it's a flat rate everywhere and therefore easier than trying to quote a postage price.  There is no postage label from the post office on the packaging because the postage cost is the cost of the satchel, but the buyer now thinks the postage was free and that I have charged her for something I did not pay.  There was a $2 charge for the packing materials(lots of bubble wrap and gaffer tape to keep everything unbroken, but other than that the postage was the cost of the satchel.  I have sent a photo of the receipt for the satchel to the buyer but it does not have the tracking number on that receipt, only the one for the lodgement of the article which does not have the cost on it.  Waiting to hear back from the buyer on this(they are alluding to leaving negative feedback if I do not refund), but wanted to see if anyone had any advice or opinions on this. ... I am totally fed up with ebay and their new 'return policy'  Unscrupulous buyers can ask to return items because they arrived damaged? Well, let's see some photos of the damage and some proof that it's the same item shipped out by the seller. And we have to pay the return shipping?  Ha!! If we buy an item at any retail store and find it defective when we arrive home, does the store reimburse us for gasoline to return it to them?  I think not!!
