As title says, I've got a parcel that tracking indicates has been at ebay's international shipping hub for over 2 weeks. I ordered another item from another seller at the same time. Both items were at that same hub at the same time, one has now arrived, not the other. This is no fault of the seller either so I should not have to take it up with them. I'm a seller. I want to set up a rule where buyers get free postage on the second item they buy from me, but NOT further items. I can't find how to do this. The items I sell weigh the same, so buyers can benefit by having two of them shipped in the same box. However, adding a third, fourth, fifth etc item would require extra boxes and therefore extra cost.   Shipping would be something like: 1 item    - $10 2 items - $10 3 items - $20 4 items - $20 5 items - $30 ...and so on. Hi, I use calculated ebay postage labels for items that need to be sent as parcels.  Most of the time ebay calculates the cheapest postage option (Sendle or Australia Post) for the buyer. Over the last couple of months I have had a couple situations where a buyers address is a Parcel Locker but ebay calculates the Sendle rate, which it should have been Australia Post. I contact ebay via chat and they fix it by giving me the difference back in credit - which is very time consuming but a good outcome.   Today it happened again and I was slightly confused what the chat agent was telling me, see below: 1. I have checked the details and could see that the buyer choose postage label and did no specified any service hence gets charged for average postage cost - why can't ebay fix this problem, if an address is PO Box or Parcel Collect Australia Post is automatically chosen, why not Parcel Locker 2. Here, I can see in buyers address parcel locker is mentioned because of which sendle option is not available for shipment.  We recommend you to kindly remove parcel locker option and ask buyer for correct address without it, then you can ship it with sendle parcel - I asked the agent where do i find the "remove parcel locker option" the response I got was "I am sorry?" - Does anyone know if there is an option to remove parcel locker?? 3. No worries, I means if you edit buyers address and remove the words "parcel locker " then you can ship it with sendle with low postage - ???? - editing an address, can we do this again - I thought that option was removed years ago. 4. I wrote "This is an error ebay needs to fix",  agent's response was - There is no error as buyer gets charged with option they have choosen only and as a seller you can get a label with that amount" - but ebay are charging buyers incorrect postage as they are not taking into account that Parcel Locker addresses cannot be used by Sendle.   I have no problem using Sendle and I do like there rates for my buyers especially as most of my items are on low price side.   Any suggestions how this can be escalated to get fixed.   ... My issue is about sellers who offer free postage on items, usually with a weight over 2-3 kg. They mark the item as shipped not long after payment is made and then a few days later message to inform me that their carrier lost the parcel or that it cannot be delivered due to a being in a rural area (which is only 2 hours from Sydney). This has happened countless times now and is very frustrating because I get deliveries with no problem from eBay all the time. I feel this is a deceptive practice and is employed because they realise the postage fees are slightly more than metro areas. I'd rather them be upfront and I'm happy to pay for postage. Please don't offer free postage anywhere in Australia and then play games when you see it's in a rural area. Mention that in your description for eg "We don't post to rural areas or can't give free postage to rural areas" but don't mark items as posted and then pretend it got lost or carrier can't deliver. ... How can I know that it isn't going to be sent through dodgy PF Logistics when I just purchased an item and in the shipping info bit it said Australia Post Standard Parcel? I then receive the tracking number and all that a day later to find out it is PFL. I don't want anything to do with those frauds, I have had to get refunds twice through eBay because of them, they have no real customer service and they lie about your parcel being delivered when it hasn't. Had another issue with them over a purchase I had made on another website also. While I managed to get my money back every time I don't want the stress.  So honestly I won't be using eBay unless I can stop having things sent through PFL. ... View more

I started a return dispute for wrong item received but... While the return label is addresses correctly to the seller, the return address on the return label is not my address, its even a completely different state. The seller is in Victoria and I am in Tasmania but the return address on the return label is Victoria. (Australia) I don't even know if the seller has even paid enough for the label to be sent from my state to the sellers state.   The worst thing is that when I firs contacted the seller about the wrong item they asked me to "write "Return to sender." on the parcel, take it to the post office and tell them its not your name and phone number." This has happened quite a lot. When I hand my packages over the counter, AusPost will scan the parcels but consider the tracked envelopes "not priority" and generally don't scan them. Two situations have occured;   1. The post office scanned it (as I'm friends with the owners) but when it's picked up to be taken to depot, the driver doesn't scan them. Then item is left on "We've got it" until it is delivered.   2. I (regrettably) didn't check my lodgement receipt at another post office that I only use on a Saturday morning as my usual place is closed, the woman behind the counter scanned the parcels I lodged but not the tracked envelopes. She handed me a lodgment receipt but I didn't check it. I see the notifications come up for the parcels, but not the tracked envelope. I check the tracking history and it still says "pending".   Lessons for all sellers on here. Check your lodgement receipts. At least if they've scanned it at the post office, then you've done your part. I have 0-1 day shipping and I think this might affect my sellers account negatively. I've now stopped using eBay in favor of Amazon due to the slow delivery by the new courier company which was hopeless.  eBay was my first choice before when austpost delivered items but not anymore, Worst case I had to go to the post office for some items. eBay has broken a good service which is a great shame. ... I am a seller and I recently sold an item as a Buy it Now to an overseas buyer New Zealand), and eBay defaults the shipping to International Economy Air which can take between 10 & 21 days.  My buyer, before buying, contacted me to find out if I would send to NZ.  I sent her a quote for Standard Shipping, which was a bit dearer, but would get to the buyer quicker.  She was prepared to pay that.  I wasn’t sure how to change it, so she agreed she’d pay the extra if needed.  I told her that eBay won’t allow it.  Anyway, she paid and it was International Economy.   ‘’is there a setting on default international shipping?  I have my own policies setup….is there a way I need to do it there?  If so, does anybody know how I create the shipping options so this doesn’t happen again.  It’s happened in the past that I create the international shipping label and I’m always out of pocket by a few bucks.   Can anybody assist? Our Apartment has security foyer and entrance swipe tags making deliveries to the building difficult. An Australia Post Parcel Locker solved any issues with receiving packages securely. When shopping on ebay products displaying the Australia Post insignia are chosen yet not ever seller will send packages to a Parcel Locker. Is it possible for ebay to tag 'Parcel Locker/Post Box' sellers, within their product offering, so as customers can select desired items knowing you won't be rejected at the payment process? ... What is going on? My package has been in Sydney since the 14th and has not been delivered yet. This is completely unacceptable, as I know it does not take 2 weeks to clear customs (considering I have a background in logistics within this city and dealing with air/sea freight). What on earth is going on with whoever DAI or A1 Tracking, or whatever they call themselves - who provide me with little to no relevant information other than my package came into Sydney on the 14th - have not sent my package to in over 2 weeks? Is PF Logistics a rort ? , apparently dodgy ebayers showing as local suppliers are sourcing and sending items direct from China but trying to masquerade as local suppliers as scam courier company PFLogistics supply them with what is supposed to be a local tracking number but you will find it will be weeks before you receive items and they always say please wait delay in delivery. I notice under their listings, before you click an individual one, each One has a little sign saying "+$1.50 AU Postage" or something like that, or even sometimes free postage..
