This is not about eBay, but very well could be also an issue. I have been for quite a while unable to shop in B&M shops; for the past couple of years I could only just make it from the disabled parking spot into the supermarket to get the essentials that fit into my walker basket. Therefore all my clothing is purchased on line, which is bit hit and miss. Recently, I had particularly nasty experience when I bought a dress made out of heavy textured material, listed as linen cotton mix; actually it was the material and color in the photo that I wanted, the dress style was secondary. What I got was made out of polyester mix (according to label on the garment), it was smooth very fine fabric; nothing like the photo. I paid some $70 for it, and therefore I was quite furious; the seller refused to accept that the item is SNAD, but promised to refund if I send it back, which would be about $32. Fortunately, PP thought about it differently and refunded. I found similar dress from another on line shop and bought it, only to realize to my horror that my money went to the same PP account. That was almost 3 weeks ago, and they never send this second purchase, nor did they reply to my emails. I opened PP "item not received case" and got refund. So, 3 months from the time I bought the 1st dress, I still have nothing! I noticed that many of the shops stocking the clothes I like have similar designs of their websites, as did the 2 shops I bought from. The question is, are they all owned by the same company, or do they just have the same web designer? So, today i came across another item I liked, the shop had totally different design of their website, and so I bought it, only to find that the money went to the same company as my 2 disastrous purchases. I want to know who I am dealing with before I commit to buy. I am sure there are also many sellers on eBay who also have several stores. Is there a way to find out?
