I want to displace paypal and use paymate. I have opened a paymate account. I have noticed that my advertised products do not have an option for pay by paymate only paypal. How to we get past this monopoly of paypal.

I am new to eBay selling, prior to this have just sold via my online site. We have contacts with a company that produces genuine Bodum glasses and we are able to purchase their over-production glasses at a very good price. I advertised these as Bodum glasses and a buyer bought up about 20 of these which were offered in sets. They complained that they were not genuine, and rather than arguing I went the route of "the customer is always right", refunded their money for items not yet shipped and gave them a refund on what they had already received. My worry is that their feedback will make people think that I'm selling 'fakes'. I made a mistake in listing them as "Brand New" as we are not allowed to purchase them in their original packaging, so will revise that and will make mention in the description that they are factory over-production and sold in generic packaging. I will also take a photo of the base of the glass which clearly shows the Bodum logo and markings. Aside from this, is there anything else I should do? Is it wise to comment on their feedback that the items are genuine, just not sent in original packaging, or just let it go? Just wondering how I should handle this. Currently they're listed as "Bodum style glasses" (I relisted some sets while this recent fiasco was playing out.) Any tips would be much appreciated as I don't want to stuff things up and not be able to sell via eBay as it has been going quite well as an aside to my other online store?

I have another account from 2004 with 6300 feedback, and read in policy : http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/sell/sellinglimits.html If you already have an established seller account You may be able to increase the limits on your account if you have another, more established seller account on eBay. Your other account needs to meet all of these conditions: You've been a registered seller for at least 90 days. Your detailed seller ratings are at least 4.8 in all areas. If your account meets all of these conditions, follow the instructions on the Request higher selling limits page to confirm that you already have an established seller account. I have lose a lot of time with 3 assistant in chat ... but i think customer care DONT KNOW THE POLICY, or are competitor?? Ebay Australia need remove this limit, my other account is mike.oo , or .. why ebay write policy in this website??

Hi everyone, I'm here from the U.S. Answer Center with a question about sellers who are registered with the eBay.Au site, and who want to sell internationally. We had a member who is registered on this site come to our AC asking a question. The member has 3 feedbacks as a seller and is listing as shipping worldwide. One of our responders advised that the seller doesn't meet the requirements to sell internationally. eBay.com requirements say that a seller must have at least 10 feedbacks to sell internationally. I checked this site and I don't see that requirement. Can any of the experienced members here help me with this. I don't want the OP to go away with wrong information. Thanks so much!

In February I received Top-rated seller status (wow).In June I had it taken away.I still had 100% positive feedback but apparently 4 people had left negative private feedback in "item not as described".I find it hard to believe as the items have photos and accurate descriptions, I thought.No one has sent emails complaining about the items,whatever they were,or given me negative feedback.I always exchange items for people or give refunds.Ebay always wants us to improve our relationships with customers,do better,etc.How is this possible,1-to improve our product and or relationship when this can happen with no recourse for the seller.I questioned Ebay but not much came out of it.It does seem strange that I've had no direct complaints, who were these mystery unhappy buyers

I have been editing items in my selling account, quite a few bulk updates etc, can you do too many and then get locked out for any reason? I was going fine, then when I tried to edit another item it asked me to log in - did that - login again - on and on. On the actual page even though I had logged in correctly, my user name etc all up the top just fine, yet on the page it said 'welcome guest'. Glitch maybe? Recently cleared cach and cookies and on same pc I have logged in just fine with this id. Any ideas? ?:| I just got power seller status? do I need to do something differrent to the ususal?

Hope someone is awake at this hour to help. I am trying to send an invoice but cannot put in a seller discount. I have tried the following but each time it says" the amount must be lower than $0.00 -$10.00, -10.00, -10, -$10. I think you get the drift, all of these amounts are less than 0.00 am I doing something wrong with the minus button or should it be a different button I need to use? I have removed the postage cost as the buyer is picking up multiple items, no problem there. I changed the invoice to local pick up, no problem there either . However I am trying to give her a $10 discount as she is a regular buyer and it will not let me do it. Thanks in advance from one night owl to another

Iphone app shows how much has been sold over the last 30 days but I cannot seem to find any more than this, also have tried looking on the main ebay site from pc but still no luck, any suggestions greatly appreciated. I listed an item & the winner of the auction asked me a question just prior to end but bid anyway. She won the auction and almost immediately started saying that she wanted to cancel the transaction & I could do a 2nd chance offer to one of the other bidders, kept saying the item was damaged but had no evidence of this. I then followed ebay procedure and filed the unpaid item case I was going to go in and close & see that she had sent me an email. Upon reading this email it went on about how she had a sick child etc & I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt & as she had paid for the item I gave her a full refund & wished her well with her sick child & said had I been made aware of her personal situation I would have been a lot more understanding. I said I wouldn't leave any feedback etc & leave it all there. She has now posted negative feedback saying I have told white lies etc I have asked for a feedback review as essentially I have complied with what she wanted but now she's tainting my reputation. No matter what I did with this seller she wasn't happy. She also mentioned that she had been trading on ebay for 7 years yet her profile is very recent. I wonder if there has been bad behaviour before & she's got a new ID? What happens in this situation-I have done as she wanted to I can't understand why she would be so nasty?

I recently sold an item. buyer came to pick but decided not to buy. Gave no reason thenjust left. I now have re-listed the item but notice I am charged a fee for the tiem that didn't sell. I read through the help but it is too complicated to make andy real sense. Surely this is pretty comon and a simple option can be presented to customers..

Does a seller have to accept a final bid? Do I have to sell if the final bid is to low? If there's no buy now price do I have to sell on last bid?

"BUY IT NOW" bidder refuses to pay(immediate payment indicated on contract) until inspection and re/decision on pick up! Come on...Doh. Why not take the time and inspect before locking ALL bidders /offers out. AND BREAKING A CONTRACT!!!!!!!

I am a bit concern with the contract policy... Once a buyer made the bids, then Buy It Now is no longer in use... That is what I know of.... It's first time I ever been asked by other buyer made the offer to buy now.... Should I say to other buyer No it cannot be allowed as the bidding is still carrying on... If allow to sell other buyer buy it now before the bidding ending time (after the buyer already made the bid before buy it now), what can I do?

I have had a couple of cases where people weren't totally happy with their purchase (one item broke while in transit, the other thought they were getting something different). In both cases the buyers contacted me via eBay message and I agreed to a refund. I went to Paypal and simply did "issue refund" but the item still shows up on my "sold" list and the amount refunded is added to my "Payments Not Received" amount. Am I going about things in the right way? I guess my question is, what is the correct procedure when you are contacted by a buyer and you agree to refund. Is there anywhere on the eBay site where you can initiate this refund so that it takes it off the listing as "sold items".

There is another seller who is claiming that this is his Compliance Number, keep in mind that this is the same supplier as mine, same Heater Belt, and this same supplier may have given him permission to use the same number. On his eBay site he has posted this warning. CE certified manufacturer C TICK AUSTRALIAN SAFETY APPROVED UNIT N22192 (this is our certified #) buy with caution from other buyers displaying this # outside of NSW Since this warning has been posted I have sold one Heater Belt and he sold seventeen in one week,I am 0.94 cents cheaper for the same belt. My question is, is he allowed to post a warning such as this?

The buyer left the negative feedback before trying to resolve the issue. The buyer misunderstood the title, sounded like she didnt read my auction discription when I stated as ' only 1 book is for auction' and I meant the buyer have the choice of up to 5 books to get. The only mistake I beleived I made was I thought I could list multipe item - but I could not because I am just an amateur seller.' Max 5 books' is ringing in the buyer's head as it was stated so in the title and she emailed me that I decieved her. I am non native English speaker, but I flown myself how 'max 5 books' becomes 'for 5 books' in the buyer's head. Still, I am accepting my failure of 'misleading title' and I offerred refund or sending additional 4 books if she believed that was what she was expecting for the price she paid. No reply yet and I don't think I deserve this kind of punishment that the buyer only has a power to drive these kind of situations to rate me negatives when she ignored 'bidding for only 1 book.' I also had a similar case that the buyer rated me neutral after picking up the items from my house, not mentioning anything there but when he went back home to decide to complain 'the item was not as advertised' - I dont remember I 'advertised' the items at all - I have just described the item as I thought it was genuine explanation for the items. Why ebay would let this happen and allow them to make me down. Surely eBay should change that nobody can leave a negative/neutral feedback until going through resolution? I really would like to apeal my case somewhere but I cant find anything that suits for my need!

I'm tired of being so nice and giving the buyer all the time (& excuses why they don't pay in time). So I'd rather just be able to "ban" them from bidding on my items in the future. Is there a way to do this?

Hey guys! I'm doing my first lot of sales in a long time. I've recently sold an item, and the buyer has asked for more time to pay for it on several occasions. I'm reasonably certain that the buyer has been buying other things while giving me the run-around. Is there any way for me to check that? Thanks!

I sold and item then put in a cancel transaction request a few days later as the buyer didn't pay (scammer sandm2001-07 remember it!!) the buyer never responded to any of my emails after I wouldn't give my bank details and asked her to please pay though PayPal anyway... I made a cancellation case and my case details still say that there waiting on a response from the buyer, what happens if the buyer doesn't respond at all? how does the case finally close? I'm worried i'll get a final value fee.

AFter going to great lengths to describe the item accurately the buyer says thanks , great item, great condtion but its not what I want, it looks to small for my wrist , can I return it please. Frankly I'm inclined to say no, its not try before you buy is it ? But there again he will probably leave neg feedback . whats my best bet ?
