Despite 2 reminders, then a non payment sent from ebay seller still did not pay, but did go go crazy as thought I was impatient after 7 days no payment or any communication at all from them. I closed the non payment with ebay to get my fees back and thought that was the end. But have just found they could leave STILL leave me feedback.
I believe they may have only been able to leave positive feedback, but not a good comment, and my star level went down too so presume I got 0 stars from them.
Has anyone else found this out, as I believe non paying sellers should not be able to leave feedback and could not before. Or is this another new ebay thing please?

yes, I had the same thing this week. A buyer had still not paid after three weeks for a pick up only item. She messed me around time and time again so I opened an UI case. Closed it on day 3 and she was not happy and left me negative feedback. An email to ebay had it removed.

And leaving a positive with a negative comment for your non payer has helped you exactly how ?

After an unpaid item dispute is closed neither side should be able to leave feedback as ebay class the transaction as never having taken place however if you decide to leave feedback for them before you are now acknowledging that a transaction has occurred giving the buyer a perfect right to do as you have done and leave feedback.

No you can't, perhaps it is about time you went and read up on ebay policy. You can only leave buyers a pos and it is against the rules to leave pos feedback with a negative comment. How is it going to warn other sellers anyway? Most of us don't have the time or the inclination to look through the feedback of every member who bids on our items and even if we did it wouldn't stop people using BIN or last minute snipes.
The best way to avoid non payers is to go through the dispute process so you get your fees back and the buyer gets a strike. If you then set your buyer preferences to block anyone with more than one unpad item strike you should see a significant drop in the number of non payers.

That's a little non sensical.... you make the time to look through the feedback of sellers and buyers when they comment on
the boards (whether you need to or not) to address their questions... yet you do not have the time to look at a bidders
feedback before they commit to purchase but after they have bid or indeed if the bidder uses BIN or snipes after they have
committed to pay but are very slow to do so to check and see whether they did the same thing to other sellers ie a pattern of non payment, unwarranted negs or a lot of delivery problems???
The veracity and commitment of members whether they be buyers or sellers is paramount
your argument IMO is facetious.... howver often you present it
Most sellers I believe do not think like you positives negatives are as common as cats poo

and after a non payer, unwarranted neg leaver, INR scammer is highlighted on these boards you castigate said neg pos
leaver and then run off to MANUALLY add that ebay username to your "special" lists
hypocrisy reigns supreme while common sense is hidden somehwere under ebays sock puppets' obfuscation and spin
