Just to save me checking all the other threads or trying to work it out on the AP website, could somone please tell me the prices of 500g satchels next week? People seem to be saying the regular satchels will be cheaper than C&S....or was it regular parcels?
I'm a bit confused, and wondering if I should go and buy a load of regular satchels before the price increase.......which reminds me, how much is a regular satchel at the moment?
Thanks 😄

right to the source.
Why they bury such important information is beyond me.

oh and click on the teeny-tiny link called PRICING - bottom right hand corner.
Its like they are trying to "hide" this from the public, until there is an outcry on the 15th April.
SHAME ON YOU AUSTPOST!!!!

darnit, i just bought 100 500g C&S satchels X-(
Just use them but instead of using the promo code, just put them through as normal <500g parcels using own packaging. You still get the numbers automatically uploaded to ebay but at the lower price.
The only downside is you will need to pay at the PO

But do you still have paypal protection at the lower price?

I can't see why not. It uploads through C&S to ebay the same way as when you use a promo code satchel. You can still see the addressees details on the C&S site and as long as the PO scans them in when you pay for them it should have proof of lodgement

Okay...so does that mean that all tracking numbers paid and lodged over the PO counter have to be manually added to each sale- as currently they are automatically assigned via normal click and send procedure?

Yes. If you post a normal <500g parcel over the counter at a PO you will get a tracking number for that parcel on your receipt. You then need to add that tracking number to the ebay order details.
If you post a number of the <500g parcels over the counter at the same time you will either need to hope you get someone who knows how to add a post code to each one on the receipt (seems some say its easy as long as you tell them before they start and others say its not possible at all) or you need to come up with some other way to remember which tracking number goes for which parcel.

I thought the post office printed receipts (as opposed to the old ink stamped Sales Dockets) included the weight and destination (postcode) of the parcels...and if they are still doing that and processing the parcels one at a time wouldn't it show the tracking/article # with the other info? Curious to see what the new receipts look like.
Atleast with the prepaid satchels you will be able to stick the number on the receipt or own records
