Just to save me checking all the other threads or trying to work it out on the AP website, could somone please tell me the prices of 500g satchels next week? People seem to be saying the regular satchels will be cheaper than C&S....or was it regular parcels?
I'm a bit confused, and wondering if I should go and buy a load of regular satchels before the price increase.......which reminds me, how much is a regular satchel at the moment?
Thanks ๐

Kazbar I get what you are saying, and yes it will be cheaper but just the whole thing of having to manually enter tracking numbers, as somebody else has pointed out already, why if we get a tracking number wrong?
I am still not convinced that using this method will be enough to satisfy Paypal's requirements.
I dont think you are getting me at all.
I never said to enter the numbers in manually.
I said use the C&S system but instead of entering in the codes for the ebay satchel (ie 39712) use "own packaging' and enter in the dimensions and weight (under 500grams) and you will get the benefit of &S but the price of $6.95
Your tracking number will be uploaded to ebay automatically

I thought you COULD use C&S AND post item in a street box or does that only apply to the ebay branded "Flat Rate Satchel" (which says Buy postage online anytime you like at clickandsend.....Post in any red street posting box)

My understanding is that 'own packaging' requires payment over the counter. I'm fairly sure the street box drops only apply to flat rate products, but as my closest red box is outside the PO.....
colleen - Just to add to our problems (or mind at the moment), my PO has told me he and some other POs in our district are going to ban Click and Send as from Monday, because they didn't or don't get any payment out of it.
I would report them to AP. They might find they will then have a choice of accepting legitimate AP products (ie Click and Send) or losing their licence. According to my PO, they DO get paid for accepting C&S, it just not much and certainly not as much as they make on PP+ satchels. But I buy my prepaid envelopes, paper and smokes from mine, so they still make a bit from me.
