Anyone had a buyer who won't abide by the Ebay rules stating that "best offers do include postage".

Buyer won't pay postage even though Ebay state in bold letters that best offers do not include postage. Ebay did not comment but side stepped the issue and sent his complaint directly to PayPal who promptly held the money from my account without comment. Another case of Big Brother Ebay abandening sellers in favour of buyers. I relisted the item deleted the 'paid' symbol from the transaction, and will not trade with this buyer at all.

In addition, when buyers make an offer they are also presented the seperate cost of shipping which is additional to the offer for the item. Your buyer would have clearly been told the postage was free before committing to purchase. They are also shown a review screen with the total cost breakdown showing the total cost of the transaction before committing to buy ...

Guys read the Ebay terms re making an offer. It clearly states the OFFERS DO NOT INCLUDE POSTAGE.

They need to re engineer their rules to be very clear on this, and setup their program to eliminate the reference to free postage from the invoice before it goes out. Multiple item adverts are the most problematic with this issue.

Yes. This is for the buyers benefit so that they know that the price they are offering does not include the seller's postage charges.

I'm holding fast on this one, Ebay rules have holes in them.

are you the OP?

if so, your user IDs make these two statements kinda funny...

But, on this one, there are no holes, so if you're going to hold on tight - learn to play a violin.
