Hello please advise me where to go on this. I have purchased 4 coins from a seller on Saturday. I got them reasonably priced not cheap not expensive, they were bought as silver scrap as there not in very good condition. He had 4 all seperate auctions and they went for just under $2 each bare in mind there worth max $4 ea for there silver content. He had each one at $4 postage each so I just assumed he would combine like all small item sellers genrally offer. Well I had a feeling something was wrong straight away as I had to send several emails to get a response , well I got one today after again sending 2 more emails.
Now this is simply not right 4 coins the size of 10 cent pieces that cost less $7 and he wants to charge me $16 postage $4 ea. really is this allowed that is just not right. I mean all up there only worth$16 . Consider most other sellers charge between $0.60 - $1.50 for the same service. Now I will pay just to leave 4 red dots as that is not on and should be stamped out. Sorry for venting but its just not fair. Thanks.

yes it is right. The time to question postage is before you bid or buy not just assume sellers will combine and discount. They are under no obligation to do that. And leaving negative is not the right thing to do as it is your fault for not asking.
The seller has given you an OUT for the transaction if I were you take it.

Dont be so rediculous, It blatant gouging and over charging for shipping they all go in the same **bleep** envolope and sent for the same simple price not 4. It is these opportunist that are ruining ebay 4 red dots coming up stuff what you think is right.

Well he never said in his **bleep** listings he doesnt combine and for what god **bleep** relavant good reason could he have other than to take ADVANTAGE of people and is why people have had enough of this place .
I should not have to worry about if a seller is going to do the right thing it should be AUTOMATIC. Your reasoning is beyond belief.
Mind you most sellers have this service FREE in this catagory or $0.60- $1.50. I thought over charging or excessive postage charges was breaching policy.
Well he will get 4 red dots and If he thinks his scammed $12 was worth it good luck to him this is why I get to leave bad sellers feedback and I shall. OH and it is the right thing to do maybe next time he wants to play the postage scam he might think twice.
Mind you I bought frome 10 sellers in this catagory on the week end he is the only one who would not combine you work it out.
Only a scammer would take this road and that is why they deserve the red dots.

When you bid on a item you MUST factor in the postage into the total overall price.
If you want the items to be considered for combined shipping - message the seller before bidding or using buy it now.
If they will not offer combined shipping and you believe the overall pricing is too high for you - do not bid!

All I can say is I hope the seller reads this thread so if you do happen to go through with your threats of leaving negatives he has proof for ebay.

If it upsets you so much then pay for each item separately, and get them sent to four different addresses in your PayPal checkout
As said, it's up to you to find out if a seller combines and discounts before you bid, sure most do - but they are under no obligation to do so.
I imagine you wont be buying from that seller again even if you're not on their BBL..............
