What really makes me angry, and even more angry after looking at this buyer's 'feedback left for others' is that eBay are NOT doing their duty by INSTANTLY removing the negative feedback left for you. Surely it's OBVIOUS that you have been slandered. Her list of purchases have several identical items and the same negative comment left for all.
In my experience eBay have never been anything but unfair when it comes to unreasonable negative feedback: A few years ago someone ruined my 100% rating by leaving me a Red with a positive comment. Calling eBay I was advised to notify the buyer of the inconsistency and he told me to 'bugger off' - eBay said they would do nothing even though that particular buyer was doing the same to other sellers.
And.... what really hurt was the lack of sympathy on the 'Power Seller' forum ... "tough - get over it" etc., mostly from from sellers who didn't have a a good rating themselves anyway!

There is no way that eBay can judge what is real and what is not. But what is fact is that eBay is absolutely full of fake MAC and Pandora and all sorts of other brands. This buyer is somewhat naive/stubborn/obsessed if she is indeed receiving all fakes and nevertheless continues to buy in hope the next one is real. But there are some people who never learn; we have here some other members coming back over an over after, they have been scammed.
rogiebear040104, do you have a proof that your MAC was legit? In that case if you fill in the libel form I cannot see why would the FB not be removed.

Hi - thanks again for your comments and advice. To reply to ***super_nova*** - I purchased the MAC item for my sister from a David Jones MAC store - she didn't like the colour - "wrong kind of yellow" as she put it so I put it on ebay - and have the receipt to prove my purchase. Where is the libel form as I would love to have this negative feedback removed. 4 years selling authentic MAC items and then this idiot pops up. I have sent her numerous emails asking her to explain - and guess what - no replies - but I am not surprised about that! She is out to cause harm to other honest sellers. I have also asked her to revise her feedback and again, no response. Nothing! Is this the type of behaviour from a "normal" buyer - NO!
I too am very upset with ebay as they will not take what other sellers and I have said - she's still there buying. They can see what other sellers have written and still she remains there - am very quickly losing my faith in ebay and will stop selling once all my stock has run out. in the interrum, I am waiting for the next seller to fall victim to her slander and vicious game!

I think the buyer is a problem that should be addressed by eBay in a very quick timeframe. I'm only guessing here, but I reckon they had some bad experiences on eBay under a different ID and have started a new one as some form of vengence. Unfortunately, you a part of their twisted plot.
Some may wonder why it is that you have been successfully selling authentic MAC for 4 years, then when you need some for your sister, you need to go and buy it from David Jones. It may be helpful to clarify this as there are board posters that just love to jump on others over inconsistencies in postings.

rogie, I don't know how to do a live link but this is where you'll find the form you need to complete and then get signed by a JP - I use my local chemist:

I've already mentioned how to get the defamation claim form earlier in this thread. If it doesn't work, ring ebay and ask them to email the link to you.

I bought the eyeshadow from David Jones as it was a last minute present and it would have taken 2 weeks to arrive from my usual supplier in the US (who by the way is a MAC consultant). I don't usually sell that particular colour as it is not very popular with ebay buyers.
Anyway my faith in ebay's justice system is on shaky ground at the moment. So much for supporting and protecting their seller!

that sounds like me, leaving the buying of presents to the last minute that is 🙂

well obviously you can't cancel bids putney on a buy-it-now item, I am surprised that you didn't know that 😛
Is there a bit of a cat fight between thecatspjs, putney32, and patchoo78?

Just wondering if anyone has taken the time to actually check out the sellers that this buyer has left negs for fake MAC ?
Previous negs & neuts,revised feedbacks,no longer selling MAC-just wondering.:|
