Buyers complaining about postage AFTER they pay it

Im really over buyers who bid and win an item or buy it now and THEN complain that the postage is too high or tell me how i should send it to make it economical.

Last time i checked I knew how to package stuff. I really wish buyers would check that they are ok with the set postage listed before they buy something. I get people who pay and then i list the item as sent and then they ask for express two days later complaining they needed the item asap. Honestly, selling on ebay used to be fun and easy. People like this need to get off ebay.

ebay buyers are very demanding. They want it fast, they want it cheap and they want it good.

Some buyers can very picky and expect way more than is reasonable but if you are regularly receiving complaints (or queries), about the same issue, then you need to examine what you are doing.

I think your postage is too high, but I would just not buy from you, not complain after the fact.

Maybe you should see if there is a more economical way of sending those shoes. An upto-3kg prepaid parcel from Aus Post costs about $11.50 and could probably fit those shoes in, with a dollar or two added for safety packaging material. So, maybe something like $15 would be more reasonable.

I agree that buyers should not complain after purchase however I do think your postage is a bit excessive. I would not buy from you because of the postage. As an experienced seller myself I know exactly how much it should roughly be and I am sure a 3kg satchel would be much cheaper. Even Click & Send would be cheaper again. Even if you did charge a bit more foe bubble wrap etc.

If you are to get. Or whales you need to look at your postage prices. There are much cheaper ways to post.

LOL  I wondered what do whales have to do with anything.

Have to agree with the others, there is no way  I would want to pay what you charge for postage.  It is also against eBay rules to overcharge on postage; you are only allowed to charge the actual postage, although you are allowed to ad little bit for handling and packaging materials.  You are losing sales and sooner or later somebody will report you for fee avoidance.

hear hear! I used to like selling on ebay but i'm over it now. ppl demant and expect too much & complain too much about EVERYTHING! I even spoke my mind on a discussion forum last night which was not at all offensive, but someone even complained about that! gees! Or maybe ebay just didn't like me pointing out that there are major problems with it??? I thought these forums were for ppl who had something to say??? Maybe not....

Not complaining -just an observation about

postage costs.-after i have paid it.

Have purchased on here for years.

One seller i use has a post fee of  $6.00.

The small booklets arrive in an envelope

made from 2 folded A4 sheets with $1.60 stamps.

A recent seller -the postage cost was $25.00,

put $6.00  change in the parcel because the seller

realised the postage was too much--it evens out........Richo.

People like that you should immediately report to ebay. It is against ebay rules to bid on an auction and then complain about the price of the goods or the postage. It is a violation of ebay rules so report report report!!!
