I am wanting to change my eBay ID because due to a fox attack yesterday morning, I no longer have any of my chooks. I currently have items listed and some have bids, would it confuse the bidders if I changed it now, or should I wait until I have nothing with bids?
Thanks!

Do we call you sheep now?
Is it possible that it was not a fox, but a feral ferret got them?
Just a thought - I may be way off base

Definitely one of the 4 legged variety, they are very specific in how they kill. Only other thing that kills the same way is a Quoll but we don't have them around here. They both have surgical precision (without going into detail).
Thanks for the heads up re the name. If it causes any issues, I'll change it to something else in 30 days. Maybe I should have put it to a poll first!!

Oh no, that is sad. A good friend has lost 2 horses in the last 2 weeks. The one on Friday was from an aneurysm. I never gets any easier.

AHAHAHA, looks like one of mine when his wool is starting to grow back.
Definitely a fox 😞

I went out one night and was just in time to see a fox jump out through the weldmesh on the side of the chicken 'house'. The gap was just over 3.5 inches and he was through in a nano-second - no wriggling to get himself through. He also jumped a 4-foot high fence and hardly touched the top as he went over. They'll keep pulling until they get the chooks out through a small gap, but they possibly 'disect' them first.

Nah, don't worry about the choice of sheep. It shouldn't have even been brought up here. There is no 'sheep' id currently on CS and there was one in the past (no variations of it either).

Yeah, I reckon it probably flattened itself out like a rat. I know one came out relatively intact because you can see where it dropped her a few times, both in my back yard and in the park out the back. There were patches of black feathers from the chook run, all the way through the park along the creek.
The gap under my back gate is about 4" and I can see where it slid under because the ground is compressed. I have 7 foot cyclone fences, but that's to keep the neighbourhood dogs out. I know they wouldn't keep a fox out, they are good climbers. It amazes me how well they can chew too. I've seen the results of friends that had it happen and they chew through regular chook wire like butter.....hence why the chook run is reinforced with cyclone wire.
It amazes me how clean they kill too. Not a drop of blood anywhere, especially considering their method of doing the job (those that have had it happen know what I mean without having to go into detail).

Its on topic - why shouldn't it have been brought up here am*3 - ?
As far as I can see it was a friendly heads up to chooks to avoid upset or misunderstanding down the track due anothers past historical hysterial history
