Hi All,
Did any one get an invite to join the click & collect option? If so whats the cost associated? Any ideas how it works for the seller?

There is a thread on this in the Buying board and going by the comments there it seems this service has not gone live yet ?
Someone more knowledgable?? (and that can spell LOL) should be along soon

I don't think the facility is available to a seller unless the store has multiple outlets across Australia, which then enables the buyer to choose the closest store available to them (with stock available), which is why you see stores like Target, Good Guys etc with this option enabled.

You buy on ebay, then go to the store to pick up the item - can't see that being of too much benefit on eBay, TBH.
Just read the thread on the buying board though, and it seems I missed something, too. Apparently there's a new option for buyers to have purchases directed to Woolworths so they can collect there, in which case I would think the sale might proceed as normal for the seller, and they just get a different address to post to? Dunno, sounds like it's in its very early stages, but more of a service for the buyer than the seller.

DG - yes it is an optional service for the buyer.

i just noticed one of the sellers offering it. The listing has an option to collect from woolies or Big W. So was wondering if big sellers have been invited to try it out already

I think the buyer will be happy if they do not have to pay shipping costs.

hmm. buyers get an option.
Just wondering how much the sellers are going to be charged for the service ๐

Would you mind putting up an item number for a listing that has it? I'm a bit curious and would like to have a gander at what info is available to a buyer when this options is available... ๐
