Click & Collect from 26 April

From:eBay
Sent:18-Apr-16 08:00

From 26 April, Click & Collect will be enabled on your account. Click & Collect is a great way to boost your sales by offering an additional level of service. Rather than sending an item to a person's home, simply post it to the Woolworths or Big W address they choose.

So it looks like anyone that has opted out in the past will now be opted in.
I can't opt out via preferences as I haven't got it listed in there,(so I presume I opted out at some time),Who knows.gif

As long as they don't put it back in as I wont be using it.

Yep, every bit helps, so as long as the lockers don't take up too much space they'd want them ahead of Coles any time.

Re: Click & Collect forced opt in.

Wollies have a promo starting next week -

Spend $30 in week 1 (doesn't have to be in one hit) = 5 woolies $

Spend $30 in week 2 (doesn't have to be in one hit) = 5 woolies $

if the above is done -

Spend $30 in week 3 (doesn't have to be in one hit) = 10 woolies $

So $20 discount on $90 worth of goods.

It would seem they ARE desparate, and it will get me there rather than buying from the local corner store (who often doesn't have what I want) for 3 weeks, at least.

Re: Click & Collect forced opt in.

hmmmm

a feel-good gesture. I've been shopping at Coles and getting 10$ off a shop with my Flybuys points (all accrued at Coles). I'll be prepared to dust off the Woolies card for three weeks, perhaps, too..Thanks Dave.

Three weeks could be considered habit forming for some. That's what they're counting on.

I do on-line grocery shopping, so that will be a nice bonus

Woolies and ebay are expanding their partnership as they are trialling a service in a small number of selected stores where buyers can basically post their parcel from a Woolies store. You can drop the parcel of at Woolies store and have it sent of to you buyer through couriers please.

I don't think online shopping qualifies. You also have to accept the offer, it's not automatic.

The offer I got was you had to spend $60 in week one and 2 to earn $5 Woolworths dollars and the "bonus" week you have to spend $60 to earn $10.

Edit: Online doesn't qualify. That's a shame because people often spend more when shopping online due to not having to carry it all
