Hi
I havent been on here for a while, but its time for some advice again.... I made a sale to someone with, when i checked, an address that does not exist. I want to know how they got this address passed in by ebay as legit etc...they've got my bank account details (its on my check-out) and know my name etc..I dont trust this person and sale for one minute.... i've opened an unpaid case, but i want this person investigated by ebay. They made email contact asking all sorts of questions about my bank account details and name etc.. and said their paypal was playing up...They have low feedback, and their account has been changed over from another. I usually cancel all sales from low feedback buyers, but this got slipped in at the absolute last minute. What do my other fellow sellers about tackling this ??. Ebay is always quick to sort out buyer problems, but sellers always lose out. I lost my powerseller status due to 2 people ripping me off of stock last year.

The only thing you can really do is report them for false contact details, after eBay may take action (they will probably ask them for verification details, maybe ID, and could restrict their account until supplied, or they may do very little - I don't think they advise the specific details of any action taken).
