EBAY have started to re-list my items even though they have been set up as 'Good until cancelled'.

Ebay have started to re-list my items automatically thence chraging a fee for every one, so far 41 items have been re-listed by Ebay even though everything is listed as 'Good until Cancelled"

Why?

Correct me if I am wrong, I don't have a store so I might be misunderstanding this.  Doesn't Good till Cancelled mean that items will continue to relist automatically at the end of each listing period until you sell them or otherwise cancel them?  And doesn't it also mean you get charged a relist fee once every 30 days for the privilege?

Cheers,

Penny

With GTC listings they are automically relisted by ebay every 30 days and listing fees apply.

GTC does not mean you pay a one off listing fee regardless of how long it stays listed. It means that ebay automatically relist the item every 30 days.

Thanks Penny

I have just come back to Ebay as a store, looks like it will be short lived, I will be going back with Delcamp, a huge site and no fees unless sold (maximum) 5.5%

If you are not a registered business with ebay, you should have a check box when listing to say "automatically relist this item up to three times FREE"  or similar.  If they are 30 day listings, this means you get 3 months of free relistings on the one (or free) insertion fee.  This relisting is extra to the 200 minimum listings you get with a store.  So for example, if you list 200 items in one month and not all of them sells, you will have that remaining relisted the next month, PLUS your 200 monthly allowance for new listings.
