Ebay Cancelled my Selling Account Indefinately

Ebay has cancelled my seller account under the assumption I was selling "Fake" Blu ray's. Even though I have proved to them by way of supplier receipts they still will not re-instate my account. I have called ebay and they will not put me through to anyone that can overturn or review the decisiontelling me I can only email customer help and I just keep getting defult responses form them.

Can someone please give me the email address of the Ebay CEO or complaints department regarding Ebay's handling of this complaint.

Also do I have any rights under the Fair Trading Act as a customer of Ebay, with a seller account and Ebay Store?

The complaints about sound and quality not being good is probably because those buyers don´t realise they need high quality cables for the best results.

No you don't.. One HDMI cord is as good as another, companies who make them just tell you that you need to spend $20 on one so they can make money.. I have one that I paid $4 for and it works as good as the one we have that we paid $20 for

How many feedback comments were complaining about the quality of the discs? I agree the quality of the cables dont really matter. But some people have unrealistic expectations of Blu Rays. Some transfers to Blu ray are not very good from the Studio and are not much better quality than DVD. In saying that the items I was selling are not bootlegged i there were any audio issues then this would be a studio transfer error and if they contacted me I would have sent them a replacement without costs or a refund if they were that upset with the quality.

False Alarm, I just got answered back by another "supervisor" who also confirmed the trust and safety team are the only ones that can change it and they dont have a phone for incoming or outgoing calls (go Figure). The only way anyone can communicate with them is by Email (ebay or the public). And they are based in the US - there is no Australian Based Trust and safety team.

Buy a cheap HD TV with a low HZ level, of course the picture quality is going to be carp

Fast moving images are going to be a blur or fuzzy outline around the moving object.

Buy a good HD TV with a HIGH HZ level the picture quality is awesome.

I have recently purchased from the OP and watched a box set on a good HD tv with high HZ level and was very pleased with quality for such a low price posted with free shipping.

This is the response I got this morning to my appeal, basically they are not willing to look into it and my selling practises were creating a bad buyer experience for other sellers? This is absolutely ludicrous. It sounds to me like I was stepping on the toes of another seller. They have not even given me the option to prove the authenticity of my products.

Going to ebays lawyers will not help you, and neither will the Dept Fair Trading.

If you are really 100% positive that the product you have been supplying is not counterfeit (keeping in mind that the items were never in your actual possession and so you are relying on someone elses honesty) then I would gather as many invoices as possible and draft a calm, civil and clear email with as much detail about your suppliers as possible (but no emotional stuff about being treated unfairly or being ignored), attach the invoices and send it to trust and safety again.

If you think that there may be even a slight chance that some of the products that your buyers were receiving on your behalf may not always have been 100% then I would beg and plead to be allowed to create a new ID with completely different items (may I suggest not dropshipping) so that you can continue to generate an income.

Good on you AA - no matter what we agree to when we sign up to use eBay and it's playground, it is pretty horrific to think that they are a law unto themselves that can hide behind staff members fielding calls/chats etc. I can think of no other organisation in Australia that could possibly get away with this kind of behaviour. Obviously a CEO of any company would not be expected to field queries or complaints, but they most certainly would be expected to have a department (a contactable department) to deal with said complaints. I am gobsmacked that a co. so huge can operate in this manner.
