Its now over a week since anyone commented on any of the threads on the powersellers board. Pity, it used to be a vibrant place once upon a time.

Half the time the PowerSellers board doesn't even show up.
One day I can come to the forums and it's there and the next day it's disappeared.
Been that way for a couple of years for me.

When ambridge stopped posting it went downhill. Plus a lot have either lost PS or gone elsewhere.

Yes i am afraid that many sellers have drifted away, so not the fun chat or informative place it use to be.
I always learnt so much from many of the generous long time sellers who had years of experience, many of whom have now moved away to other venues.
i also found it hard to find the message boards once I had been moved to the new functions.

There has been a small handfull of regular posters there, some of whom have a lot to offer other sellers and newer members. Its unfortunate that they choose not to post on the open forums. I realise several of the regulars here also post on the PS boards with selling id,s, but there are a few others who only post exclusively on the PS boards. Perhaps an invitation should be extended to them to " come across to the other side " and at least help to keep these forums more active.

Dwindling eBay sales might mean there are less people meeting sales volumes required to be a powerseller. I was a silver powerseller for 10 years straight but downgraded to bronze due to lack of sales over the past 2-3 years.

By the end of this tax year we will have closed down all forms of online selling and that, of course, includes our two ebay stores.
Sales have about reached a point where it's just no longer economically viable to continue with it. We've lost interest now.
We are currently running down our stock levels as best we can, taking down listings as we sell out.
We already have another business venture under way, which has already exceeded online sales, and it does not involve selling anything.
I may look in on the boards from time to time after we close down as my ID's will remain open.

I rarely have time to visit any of the boards. We have extended our selling to facebook and 3-4 markets per year and are busier than ever. I still drop in to have a quick look at the boards when I am on hold on the phone (like now ๐ )

Hi BigBrick, Are you finding FaceBook ok?
Have been considering it, but got a bit lost in set-up. Iโm not a shiny penny .... lol.
Clarry, I truly wish you well ๐
Iโve said it before - the day will announce itself where eBay will need and indeed expect some loyalty from sellers and then wonder why itโs not forthcoming. Not that I have any complaints at the moment. But, not so with so many others - too much!
Melina.
