Free listings

Please help. I have justed opened a basic eBay store to sell free books as the website said 600 free listings. When I go to list I notice this 600 free is for collectables. On the chat the guy told me to list them collectable>books. Not under the catergorie books. i feel this is not good. If I search books on eBay it does not go to collectables. What do I do?

If someone is looking for a book by title, they search for the title, they don't search the category page after page.  The listing category makes no difference, in my view.

If you are on Managed Payments you will have unlimited listings at either BIN or Auction.....if not, you can only get 'free' Auctions in Collectables....but I note that you are selling BINs???

If you have subscribed to a basic store, then 600 listings are free - in every category.

Only for auctions, listing in collectables is free.  Other categories charge

You have listings for books that are in the books, magazines category already.

So where's the confusion?

Is your confusion that since you opened the store you are still paying final value fees and is therefore not "free"?

However you list the book (store or non store) the sale of the book will still cost you a % of your sale price.

List them in books along with your other books, as Stawks said you get 600 free listings for all categories in a Basic Store

And make this your go to for questions before Live Chat, who IMO know little about anything
