Hi, I no longer am getting the option to automatically relist 3 times if my item does not sell.

I am no longer getting the option to automatically relist 3 times if my item does not sell, is anyone else having this problem, or can you tell me why.  I have been selling for many years.

If you sold $12000 and over or 100 sales then you don't qualify anymore as you are classed as a power seller.

So as long as you're a power seller you will not receive the 3 free re lists.

I'm sure I answered your assertion in a post not that long ago, but I'll say it again. I AM a power seller, but still get the 3 free relists.

Mind you, I don't make $12K, but I have made over 100 sales in the last year. So interpret that as you will.

You are totally incorrect, all sellers that have achieved 100 sales or $12000 are excluded from the 3 free relistings.

I complained to ebay about this and that's what I was told.

I haven't had the 3 free relist for over a year now because I'm a power seller.

And I repeat, I am a powerseller, I have sold more than 100 items but I have NOT achieved $12K in sales. So whoever told you this at ebay were wrong (so what else is new?).

However, I think that if you are selling over $12K worth in a year, then that is the primary reason for not getting the free relists, as this is the only criteria I don't qualify for..

Re: Hi, I no longer am getting the option to automatically relist 3 times if my item does not sell.

Do you get the free relists if you sell more than 100 items in a single month? I have a feeling the limit of 100 items before the relists disappear might be a monthly limit rather than all year long. I have no trouble listing 100-odd items when the free listing bonus pops up every now and then, but actually selling them is a completely different story! It would also help if people would push up my feedback if they are happy with the product; alas, only about 1 in 10 actually bother leaving anything at all unless it's a message about an item or to cancel. No news is good news and all (no feedback at all means no negatives either), but I'd rather get further away from 0 as possible too; if no-one left feedback, we'd all be stuck at zero with a limit of ten items per month!

Re: Hi, I no longer am getting the option to automatically relist 3 times if my item does not sell.

Another possible solution I've seen on here is clear out your cookies and cache in your browser and then restart your browser. I've done that in the past and it sometimes works. Possibly already mentioned by someone else, when relisting, always select the edit option as opposed to just relisting with no edits. You don't have to make any changes. List the item anyway, make a note under it saying to revise later. Often if you go back a few hours or a few days later and you revise, the box will reappear. I find sometimes after I've relisted 10 or 15 items one after the other it will disappear. I go back later and it reappears. Sometimes trying a different browser can help too.

As for the rest of the discussion about the powerseller, 100 sales and $12,000. I do recall reading on here that it's 100 sales AND $12K, not OR. I sell well over 100 items a year, am a powerseller, but have never made $12K. I haven't been coming here long, but I already know that I would take the word of an experienced, long term member over someone from customer service.

......, particularly when eBay customer service are so definite regardless of their completely different answers each time, yet here on the boards there are individual variations around this issue, ranging from editing, revising, clearing cookies, change browser, wait a few hours, sign in again, restart device, etc, etc.

Like I said some sellers are still receiving them but I'm not and yes it's 100 sales or $12K in a year.

So please let me know how I can argue my case against ebay to allow me the same privelage as you and others?

Ebay told me any seller that has those figures will not receive the 3 free relists,so more lies from ebay and yep what else is new indeed.

There are so many variations because those variations have all worked for individuals in one way or another. What customer service says doesn't work and isn't correct, as is evident by all the threads on this subject when people have been told the same or similar furphies by ebay, only to discover that what they were told is wrong.

Good grief, no, I don't sell 100 items in a single month. I'd be lucky to sell 100 items in 4 months.

We need to clarify this 100/$12K business - does it apply to a single month? a year? (which is what I assumed) or some other time frame?

Quite honestly, I think somewhere you've been told a furphy. There must be plenty of people who have sold 100 items in a year (but probably not so many would turn over 100 items a month) who get the free relists.

If there is any truth to what you've been told, I still think it must be the annual turnover i.e. if it exceeds $12K (which means you're doing rather well), that stops the free relists.

But of course that doesn't make sense at all. You would think that the more listings there are on ebay - whether they come from the 40 free per month, the occasional 100 freebies, or the 3 free relists, they should be encouraging them, as the more sales, the more ebay makes in fees. But then ebay have never been logical.

Re: Hi, I no longer am getting the option to automatically relist 3 times if my item does not sell.

It's 100 sales per year not 100 items because you can sell 100 items in one listing.

And it's $12K within a year and because I have sold $12K within the first year selling on ebay I was then classed as a power seller, but mind you this was over 16 months ago and since then I have only sold just over $2K so surely I shouldn't be classed as a power seller anymore? you would think so but ebay told me that once I reached the $12K mark then it stays with me,but I said how the heck does it because I have sold hardly anything in the past 16 months compared to the first 12 months.

Not getting any real answers from ebay regarding this matter except sorry but you don't qualify for the 3 free relists anymore blah blah.
