I recently sold a cloak worth $150 plus post of $15. I used one of the $12 ebay satchels so was expecting $153 into my account. I only received $130.57 so what happened to my $22.43???
Also, what the devil has happened to 'Contact us'??
I hope someone can at least help regarding the additional mystery fees I'd appreciate it. I am seriously thinking of shutting my shop as this site is just too hard to navigate now.

The $22.43 would be the fees for the $165 sale.
I don't know why you would expect eBay to operate without making money, but I'm sure you will elucidate.

There is no mystery fees, it is simply ebays FVF

Did you just sign up for managed payments as they now take out the fees when the buyer pays for the item.

Final Sales Fees have always been about 10.9% for Ebay, plus another 2.5% or so for Paypal, depending on the category you're selling in. Your fee was about 14%, which sounds right.
However, as mentioned above, if you've registered for the new MP system, the FVF is now taken out upfront at the time of the sale and the rest is sent to your bank account. Since you don't have a shop, there should be nothing more to pay, unless you promote your listings or use subtitles - those will be invoiced separately.

I agree, eBay took over $50.00 in fees from my selling item.. The fees ebay are charging is unfair and unjust.
not worth selling on eBay so the companys make the profits from your selling..
itโs ok to buy on eBay.. but to sell you are being ripped off by the company over their price fees.
Question to eBay..what is the point in selling with your company.. NOT RIGHT

Contact eBay if you really do want to ask them (they don't read here)
But most likely they will tell you sellers are aware of the fees % involved when they list an item for sale

As mentioned earlier in the thread - Ebay neither read or reply to these forums. Responders here are members like yourself. If you have a ????? for Ebay, contact them via live chat.

There are always fees to be paid on Ebay.
They have given you the opportunity and the exposure to an entire country of potential buyers, and there is a payment for using the platform.
If you read the sellers guide, there is a very clear section which outlines your fees, which are usually just under 14%. Sellers should price their items accordingly and take all fees into account.
If you don't want to pay fees, then FB Marketplace or Gumtree are the other options, but you will get lots of time wasters and possibly strangers coming to your home.
