I have sold listed and sold one item on Ebay in the past five years. The item sold for $19.00 (including Ebay's recommended postage rate). The buyer complained about the postage so I reduced it and ended up losing $2 on the sale. Then I get an invoice from Ebay saying I owe $8.12. I have no idea what for and can't find out. With this cost, the item I sold for $19 has now also cost me $10+. I see no reason to continue with my Ebay account if I can't find out why I've been charged this amount and if every time I sell something, almost half of it disappears in costs.

On another ID apparently.
Are you aware that ebay charges 10% on postage now?
Do you have an item # so the members here can help/explain?

Did you use eBay shipping labels to send? If so, that charge is added to your account along with the fvf.

Are you talking about the 2 dolls you sold back in March?

To see the details of your eBay invoice go to your My eBay and under the Account tab, click on Seller Account. Over on the right hand side use the drop down to select the month's invoice and click Go.

Yes, the only items I've sold in four years. It doesn't really matter now anyway - Ebay has suspended my account, and to be honest, they can have it. There's plenty of other sites now where buying is much cheaper, and if that's how Ebay selling works these days, they can have that too. It cost me over $12 to make a $19 sale. Doesn't sound like dollars and sense to me....and I still don't know what the $8 charge was for. Thanks for your time anyway, but Ebay's well off my radar now.

Why has your account been suspended? They must have given you a reason.

Doesn't ebay take the fees out of her account anyway?
