Hi Guys
I recently sold afew items that were counterfeit, and now my selling account is banned or as ebay puts it my selling $ amount limit is zero.
I didnt know the items were copies, i emailed the supplier in China and they said it was genuine and i went with that. Then the original , genuine supplier contacted ebay and then my selling account was cancelled.
Im asking does anyone know away around this? I have asked ebay to reconsider taking into account the above but theyve said no. Anything else i can do?
Thanks for any advice.

I don't think I could make it any clearer! I normally say something along the lines of "please note the word COPY on both sides of the coin, as shown in the photos, to show that it's NOT a genuine XXXXX coin". There are a few other much higher volume sellers that obviously bought some of these bulk coins from the same seller as he was the only one I'd seen selling them in bulk and they seem to be selling the same things I have/had. The original seller was selling them as bulk lots of 20 copper, 20 silver plated and 20 gold plated lots. He was also selling bullion bars that he sold in blister packs with his logo on, which some of these other sellers have listed.....with his blister packs. I just wish I could've got more of the fake 1930 Pennies because they were a hot item!

There you go. You are always happy to lambast any seller, but you seem ignorant of the rules.
Counterfeits, copies are not allowed to be listed. Regardless of any disclaimers. In the case of chook's coins it might pass, but as a general rule non-genuine items are verboten. All a disclaimer does is draw attention to the non-genuine nature of the listing.

I stand corrected. You are not allowed to list non-geniune car parts or reproduction coins on ebay.

Non-genuine of any type of branded product... handbags, shoes, perfume, toys, electronics, mobile phones.......
Sellers - Doesn't the lower cost price of these items 'tip you off' that the item is not likely to be the genuine brand??
