Hi
The last three international items that have failed to arrive have all been items posted to Canada. To make matters worse, once the buyers have lodged item not received claims which I close with refunds, I get defects for "item out of stock" (only Canada). Ebay have removed these defects, but is anyone else exeriencing similar issues?

Rumour has it, Canada Post sought advice from Australia Post late last year on improving efficiency......

I had a higher-value order over the weekend from Canada, which I normally would have sent it as a large letter (buyer paid $9 P&H all up), but I'm going to try the economy air mail option @ $15-odd, as the order total isn't quite worth paying $22 for tracked.
Since they occasionally track the CN22 customs number, I'm hoping they'll track the new economy parcel numbers (I've been periodically checking on one sent to the US last week, but no luck on that so far - early days yet, though....maybe). If it does turn up on the Canada Post website, I'll keep postage to Canada open and just use / charge for economy parcels. (I'll update here if anyone's interested to know it it gets tracked - might take a few weeks though ).

..and yet another today. This is unbelievable - 5 now in the space of a week. None of the UC numbers show up on tracking (not unexpectedly). I queried this on Canada Post's facebook page and they replied that it is not unusual for regular mail to take 6 weeks!~! No reasons why but I have asked for this. Send my very last item to Canada a few days ago and have blocked all future sales until this problem is rectified.
So has anyone actually had an item arrive in Canada since mid March?

It's still quite hit and miss for me.
This screenshot shows a CN22 customs number scanned as "processed" and still showing in the main tracking result as "in transit" - the item was posted on the 16th of February, and was eventually delivered not long after this scan event (so about 6 weeks from go to whoah).
This is from a fully tracked package (Pack and track, because it was posted before the changes), and was actually posted on the 31st of March, so this one was delivered in about 3 weeks - all of these were going to the same customer, and this one arrived a week before a normal letter, that was posted two weeks earlier on the 15th of March, so again 6 weeks for the untracked one 😞 ).

I got hit with a item not received today and told the reason was that I was a Scammer. Charming! The package was sent on 30th March as registered post as you cant insure items to Canada (no wonder). This makes three out of three for my last packages to this country and like other sellers I am now pulling the pin on them as well. I have uploaded the postage receipt as there still was one then and a copy of my complaint to Auspost today re missing parcel. I doubt it will make any difference though as the buyer thinks I am a thief.
I dont understand the new system. I sent one fully insured today via the new Economy mail. I filled in the new form that doesnt have any reference number and received back a white post office receipt showing payment and a UA number that doesnt show on the USPS website (previously insured mail did). It doesnt have the name and address of the buyer so how will this hold up with Paypal and Ebay disputes for non receipt.

Has anyones packages now shown up in Canada and did they make it on to Canada Post tracking. I have a registered one that was sent a month ago. So far not trackable or delivered. Buyer refuses to listen to any excuses even though provided with a scan of postal receipt.

Which tracking site do you use to get this result, please? Looks like I've got a missing parcel to Canada too. 😞

Just the Canada Post website - the have a summary at the top (the green progress bar), and then full details underneath, if the barcode has been scanned at any point.
https://www.canadapost.ca/cpotools/apps/track/personal/findByTrackNumber?execution=e2s1 (the website can take a long time to load for me).
My economy air mail parcel hasn't made an appearance as yet, but I just checked the CN22 customs number for an untracked large letter posted to Canada on the 7th of April, and surprisingly got this, so there is hope some will be tracked:

Goodness, I havent even gotten that far. I assume it is still in Customs somewhere and am hoping it is scanned by Canada Post but not holding my breath. If eventually scanned at least I have some hope in my appeal to Ebay to return my funds. Even though no decision has been made yet I am of course betting on the fact that the buyer will win their claim even though scan of receipt etc uploaded.
