"from 7 February 2022, if sellers upload valid tracking for less than 95% of their trackable orders, their payments will be placed on hold. "
How dare they hold people's own money. But I expected no less from managed payments. What else..... maybe charging fees for late posting or not answering buyer's messages? Why not, lets do that too, it'll be fun

Thing is you can post it on time to match your handling time and get delayed putting the tracking on for many reasons and more than once but the buyer still gets the item on time ?? you then are subjected to up to two weeks with hold in many cases in Australia as ebay sets the delivery dated expected not you or i.
It wont change any thing as i like many have now changed handling times to accommodate possible delays and still get paid on time...good one ebay!!

its not the fact that you miss putting it on. Ebay will now hold your money if its not applied within your specified handling time. So if you are a busy person and slip up by mere hours or the next day your funds will be held.
Don't forget they state the expected delivery times also not you or i so thay make it up.
In Australia it can take a week in reality but they make it two weeks.
You have been dilligent and posted it on time but missed the window to apply the tracking is the issue many will suffer by.

Good loop hole i suspect the many may opt in for that or modify the handling times to slow it down.

No matter if i put it in MANUALLY OR SYNC from AUSTRALIA POST ACCOUNT . The TRACKING DOES NOT LOAD TRACKING UPDATES ON EBAY, Auspost site shows all updates.
sorry for the confusion, Maybe i confused myself! who knows,

Mine too. I wonder if a large number of sellers did not play ball, frantically uploading tracking to appease the beast and ebay realised they where just going to p!$$ off another large cohort of experienced, long term sellers who would pack there bags and move on.
While I couldnt give a stuff about the move ( hold the money for X days, I dont care, after the initial hold its not going to make any difference to anyone with regular, consistent sales ) the heavy handed, approach was just another reason to put my time elsewhere rather than here.
The move is relatively minor, but it just adds to the overall image and impressions sellers have of ebay .

As a seller, you are dependent upon Ebay continuing to attract buyers. Buyers care about service, therefore Ebay cares about it and so should you. These small changes are designed to deliver improved service to buyers in order to keep them coming back.
If changes like this get sellers to improve service that's a good thing. And yes, visibility into delivery status is one facet of that buyers experience that counts.

It's simple. Don't forget.
You put the address label on, you grab your scanner and you're done. It takes seconds and should be part of your fulfillment process.

Yeah agreed, the difference is we do upload tracking for everything and get few disputes, but its mainly cause they don't see the updates like i.e. delivered in safe place or awaiting collection at post office and usually it "YOU HAVENT SENT THE ITEM" When we have its just glitched.

Agreed its not a bad thing! I was just complaining cause I do have tracking for everything but its glitched for us.
