Received my first neg today - I think that it is unjustified as I did describe defects
But what can you do? Only ask the seller for a revision and that's pretty unlikely to be given.
I would have been happy to refund - why can't sellers write first?
ouch ouch ouch 😞

not only that, Fox, but further down my listing says ....

Cover, pages and or spine will have major noticeable marks, blemishes and or creasing. There may be missing pages, tears or other significant defects as noted. Binding may be loose or have parts missing.

I thought I'd be able to take a neg relatively well - I was wrong. :^O
I think you'd stand a good chance of having that one removed - the neg is for something explained in the description, and eBay are usually pretty good at removing those (my neg was for something both in the title and description - buyer bought a black item of clothing, then negged because it was black but they thought the pictures made it look purple, it was removed quite quickly).

Mine was removed through email contact, though most will say they've only had success by ringing and talking to the right person (some follow a canned script, apparently - when I first sent the email to request removal, 24 hours later I was really impatient about not getting a response, so I went to live chat. The guy I spoke to insisted there was no way the neg could be removed. I left the chat quite abruptly, then not long after he had messaged me directly with the process to apply for removal! But not long after the I received a reply to my first email telling me the neg was removed successfully).
I'd start with an email, anyway - I think it's better to email Trust & Safety directly rather than general customer support.
