Hi, A customer has made a purchase (paid) of childrens clothes and didn't message me the size he requires. I have emailed him twice & sent a private message. It's due to be sent by tuesday & I'm not sure where to go from here?
Many Thanks
Debbie

Don't panic - it's the weekend - he'll probably contact soon.

It's school holidays and the weekend but unusual not to let you know the size they want , especially when buying for children, at the same time they paid.
Do you have the buyer's phone number ?
Is the buyer new ?
Buyers who aren't sellers have no idea that a seller can be penalised for posting late but if you haven't heard anything by Tuesday, I recommend you cancel the transaction.

I'm guessing you must have missed the bit where they said the buyer "made a purchase (paid)" ๐ฒ

It's just the way I generalise or word some of my comments as I'm sure you know very well.
Needless to say, there's only one person here who would take it literally !!
Some sellers don't like phoning buyers so rather than say "I'd phone the buyer" or "I wouldn't phone the buyer" by saying "Do you have the phone number " ( even though they have) it gives a suggestion of what they can do.
"Yes I do , I'll think about calling them" is what most friendly posters would think or say to each other
Obviously I didn't miss anything because I wrote:

If you are concerned about a late shipping defect, in the past I have had defects removed, by advising CS that postage was delayed while awaiting confirmation/response from the buyer. CS can then check messages and any response, or lack of.

Ambiguity generally creates confusion, especially when the OP is obviously not a seasoned board member
