Just after some feedback. I usually make between 10 to 20 sales per day, and these sales come through consistently. It's now the afternoon, and I haven't made any sales in around 24 hours. I know this is a very short period of time, but it's highly unusual. I am a Top Seller and have 99.6% feedback. Do you think it may just be an eBay glitch? Cheers!

Sales have continued to slow. Now only getting 1 sale every few weeks. Totally ridiculous ! Have gone from several sales per day to 1 per month. Can not sustain running a business this way. This happened since ebay introduced the paid sponsored adds in sellers listings. Potential buyers find my listing , click on it, then see all the sponsored adds selling identical item and are then diverted from my listing. These sponsored adds are too expensive for small sellers so we will have to close up our ebay store and concentrate on our other selling platforms.

Ah how do you know they are looking at your ad than clicking off and buying a sponsored item. Just speculation or trying to justify a problem with your products.

The economy is not great and a lot of people are feeling the pinch so i think some will have cut back on spending.
I actually think you have a point about the sponsored ads. I can't speak for all buyers but yes, I have sometimes been diverted by them and I do tend to cast my eyes over them and sometimes, yes, it leads me to another seller who has the identical item for cheaper.
I opened one of your ads ( for a dog house/cabin in grey) which cost $210 with free post.
Under the ad, there were several "similar items" on show, but the trouble for you was that 2 looked identical, so I opened them. Both look to be from Australian based sellers. One of them (with an extra $10 off on offer) comes to less than half the price and also has free post. Feedback 99.4%
I could be wrong but I think a lot of buyers would go for one of the cheaper options even if they had opened your ad first.
In contrast, there is another kennel of yours in a natural fir colour and none of the 'similar item' suggestions are actually identical, so anyone who wants that style will probably stick with you.
I don't know that you can do much about it as you are selling new items that some other sellers may carry.

I don't think ebay is making all your listings 0 views as such. People just aren't looking at them. I had a look at your item list and chose the second I saw, Sin City (DVD, 2005). You have it listed as $17, with $5.95 postage.
Then I did a general search for that exact title and your listing did not come up on my first search page (which shows 60 items). Your item comes up half way down the second page for me.
And there are 9 pages!!
So your ads are not being hidden at all. If someone searches a particular title, they will see your ad. Second page out of 9 is not too bad.
But it means some of your items at least are in a very competitive market.
Probably no one is opening your ad for Sin City (hence no views) because when I cast my eye over the ads on the first page, I can see the same thing for $3.92 (free postage) or make offer, advertised as like new, by an Australian seller with 100% feedback.
If I were looking for this DVD, I would probably buy from them. But a lot of the other sellers also have it at way under $17.
For you to get the sales you are after, I think you may need to aim to list items that are a bit more unusual & don't have hundreds of others exactly the same on offer.
Or else reassess your asking price, though how that other seller can list a DVD for $3.92 or cheaper, with postage, I don't know, as I can't see how they would be making a profit. They are a big seller though so may be able to wear a loss to clear some items.

Hi,
Wondering if your sales have picked up. We've been experiencing this now for over 6 months. We used to get really consistent sales then BAM nothing! Our reviews have always been positive and we changed nothing on the campaign to warrant such sudden drop. To add insult to injury, we then receive a monthly email telling us our account is "below standard" and will be terminated! We are averaging a token one sale per month via this platform.
Be great to hear back for you/anyone having similar issues and if a solution was ever reached.
Beck

Umm no, you have a neg in the last year for INR.
To add insult to injury, we then receive a monthly email telling us our account is "below standard" and will be terminated!
Possibly because of that neg.
