Paying with paypal after clicking pay by bank

I just had a buyer mistakingly click pay by bank transfer, by mistake, the messaged saying they wanted to pay by paypal. Because hey had clicked pay by bank transfer the abilty to send an invoice had gone so I could not see anything at my end to enable them to pay by paypal. I messaged them back saying there should be a way in the drop down menu to pay by paypal still but they said there was nothing they could see. I cancelled the sale and they will have to buy it again. Anyone know of a better way I could of done this, without hopefully cancelling the sale, if it happens again.

I must admit, because I had cancelled the order, I was not expecting to find it. I was happy when I did and even more happy 2 minutes after resending the invoice they paid for it.The System is great and I think works well but can drive you a bit crazy when it has a hic up. Thank you for that I am glad it is sorted especially as it is a rather large order and I have it packed ready to go 😉

I must admit, because I had cancelled the order, I was not expecting to find it. I was happy when I did and even more happy 2 minutes after resending the invoice they paid for it.The System is great and I think works well but can drive you a bit crazy when it has a hic up. Thank you for that I am glad it is sorted especially as it is a rather large order and I have it packed ready to go 😉

My Ebay view for me is selling manager pro.You can decide which page is shown

Well, I'm glad someone got some good out of it because I resent my invoice (her bank deposit bounced back and it's a fairly urgent order) and she paid straight away, but now the postage amount is showing as $24 in my sold list instead of $12. I decided to print the label and get it out of the way but it's showing as the item $20 + 24 postage = $64. Total price was $32!  They'd better not end up charging me twice the fees because I resent the invoice. It might pay you to check your fees too. The price of the label is showing correctly but I'm going to sleep on it and see what it all shows tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up just checked but as this is a pretty big sale, with an equally big fee, I would notice if they try to charge me twice on it 🙂 I hope you sort out the double charges

Its so confusing that the options and functions that display in myeBay view and selling manager are inconsistent or not available.

What do you consider My Ebay view/For me My Ebay is selling manager pro view I only found it after English Rose posted because I have the old version of my ebay BMed because that shows post codes which is usefull sometimes but how to get there, without the BM, I can not remember

I noticed the little envelope that comes up when you cancel an order was still showing as 'You approved cancellation of this order' even though it has been paid for, not 100% sure but thought before when a cancelled order I had was cancelled that changed so was looking around and noticed if I go into sales record the total amount is double on mine as well. I assume the invoice was for the correct amount as they paid and also was not charged twice for fees.
