Please be AWARE of this type of message!

Hi Everyone,

I am writing this to make sure no one suffers lost from fraud.

I have been keep receiving messages from some "buyer" by firstly asking if accept PayPal or bank deposit. (always for high value items).

Those "buyers" will then sent a message with a story such as they are buying this for their daughter, etc. They will keep asking to you send them a message from you PayPal linked email, or send them a money request through PayPal.

After they got your email address that link to your PayPal account.

They will send a payment received notification protending from PayPal.

And demand you to post your item, saying you will receive your fund after you provide a tracking number.

Somehow, this fund would never be cleared. Because you not even talking to PayPal.

THE most annoying part is they actually using the same story!!!!!

Again, if you DON'T see the funds on your PayPal account as holding.

DO NOT SEND the GOODS!!!!!!!!!!!

Regards

Listings say 'used' but I see stock photos.

That's a no-no.

Photos of the actual item must be shown.

Re: Please be AWARE of this type of message!

Some people think other people will be silly enough to 'buy' anything

In this case, only need a quick look to know a scammer when one smacks you between the eyeballs

Many have.

I can't understand why sellers continue to leave false positive feedback.

How can the titles say 90% or 95% new and the condition is Used?

Trouble brewing there I suspect.

Expensive goods, stock photos and 2 line descriptions scream at me.

Recall a similar seller 2 months ago posting benign questions and also with 1 feedback ? He vanished along with his expensive listings, leaving a trail of unhappy (stupid) buyers in his wake.

If it's too good to be true...

Especially the camera (body only) then goes on to describe the camera. From the bids it seems the bidders expect a complete camera.

The old 'box only' scam.

That is a complete camera - there's nothing unusual about describing it that way. And these normally sell for circa $3k brand new, so $2225 (current high bid) isn't unrealistic.

But I agree with everyone warning of this seller's listings being suspect in general.

Nope tazzie, it's listed as the body only.

'Body only' is mentioned 3 times in the listing - even the heading.

It's a case of bidders not reading IMO

Can't help idiots buyers  who can't help themselves.
