QR code shoved in your face on every listing

Every time i look at a item listing now ebay has decided to smash a pop up page with a QR code.

How annoying..

If they gonna shove that in my face every time i look at a single listing it is gonna stop me from even looking at any listings and ill go somewhere else to buy.

If i feel like that them others will also so this will also affect  my sales..  >.<

Whoever runs ebay is crazy

Not happening here either.

Looks like the OP is on their own to sort this one out.

Re: QR code shoved in your face on every listing

I had a QR code recommending using the mobile app pop up once today.

I'm using a tablet - haven't tried it on a real computer yet so others who have not seen it may be on desktops??

If you are using a phone or tablet that could be why you have seen it -ebay seem to by pushing people towards mobile devices. Which I'm guessing is why desktop site now looks like mobile site.

As too why it pops up on every item you view the only thing I can think is maybe you are using VPN?? Lots of people have reported all sorts of issues using eBay and VPN.

Adblocker removes it, but it can't remove the greyed out screen. Why isn't ebay doing anything about it? This is soo annoying.

Re: QR code shoved in your face on every listing

Why?

It is a requirement for sellers who have 'pick up' that the code be scanned to prove the buyer collected the item
