Scammed

I just got scammed but it wasn’t by the buyer. eBay, you’re a rip off. You ripped me off today.

13%..? $182 to sell a camera? Rip off.

Holding my money for a month and not telling me that until AFTER I’ve already shipped the item? Rip off.

I wouldn’t have even considered selling on eBay if either of those things were said prior to the sale. You ripped me off hard.

Re: Scammed

Sadly - you ' ripped ' yourself off.

A good idea to learn the current ins and outs of selling - before diving in the deep end.

Re: Scammed

This is a member to member forum, eBay do not read here

It is also the forum for eBay Australia , and you are registered in The USA

The things you are complaining about are clearly and fully outlined up front

Including what the fees are, the holds on funds and everything else

You choosing not to read the terms but ticking you agree to the terms of selling anyway is your choice

By the way, the holds on funds apply to all new sellers  (also information you were given but ignored) AND you have to ship within your handling time, not wait for the hold on funds to be released

As you agreed to when selling

Don't tick stuff as you have read and agreed to it when you have'nt

And then come to a forum eBay does not read and complain to eBay

For a different country no less

I hope you signed up to Managed Payments and got the go ahead to start selling, or you won't get your money at all

Re: Scammed

I thought ignorance was supposed to be bliss, you have well and truly dis-proved that one.

Ah well, far easier to blame some one else.
