Hi - I sell a lot of spare parts - when my items stock reaches below 5 I increase the quantity back to 20. Is there a way where I can see what my most sold items are? I'd like to know so I can focus on those items. Currently I have over 850 items on my page so it's a bit difficult for me to see which items are my best sellers.
Regards
Jon

Do you do regular downloads through the File Management Centre? We have it set to download all Sold and Archived automatically at the end of every month.
I just checked an old downloaded file in excel and you can sort by item title, subtotal the quantity sold column, then re-sort by subtotal.
A bit of a roundabout way, but it will get you exactly what you want. 🙂

Do you subscribe to Selling Manager Pro. I assume you have a store, subscription to SMP is free for stores.
In SMP you can set reminders so that you get an alert as soon as an item reaches a low stock level.

Thank you for the reply. Would you know how to see what my most sold items are?

I don't know. It's not something I've ever looked at.
Have you checked your traffic reports?

As far as I can tell, aside from setting up inventory tracking yourself, the closest you can get with Selling Manager is the Top Performing Store categories, which accrues the total sale value for the last 90 days.
Another simple, but not perfect, way to track popular items in listings that have been re-stocked continually is to add the Initial Quantity column to the selling manager view of All selling. Although it says 'initial' quanity, it keeps track of the total ever made available over the life of the listing, so for example say I start one with 10 available, and then once per month I update the quanity with an extra 10 each time, three months later the initial quantity will be at 40. If you sort the listings by initial quantity (in descending order, so the highest is at the top of the list), you can see (by checking the difference between initial and available) which ones have accrued the most available quantity over time, thus indicating which ones need to be consistently re-stocked (but this will exclude any popular listings that have sold out and had to be relisted).
