Sendle been losing your parcels too?

This company has ‘lost’ or should we say stolen our items and cost us a lot of time and even worse our eBay reputation.  We are considering legal action and would love to know if other buyers have had similar issues or if it is local to our area (Canberra, ACT)

I had a parcel go missing just recently, sent by Sendle.

Sendle are looking into it at present, ordered item from Amazon, courier was Road Runner, 2nd time this has happened.

Sendle sub contract out.

I am not sure how amazon works if something is not delivered but I would assume sellers there also have to provide evidence of delivery. I know faulty items are covered as they are on ebay.

If your item doesn't turn up soon, I'd be inclined to open a claim via Amazon.

If you are still working with sendle to sort it, you'll need to be firm.

Don't let them fob you off with something like 'Oh, we can see that this is in the system at the moment and delivery is scheduled for eg 2-4 Oct.'

Then you contact them on 4th and they say oh sorry for the delay but it is still in the system and now due for delivery 6-8th Oct.

I had a parcel like that and by about the 3rd or 4th 'update', I hit the roof and said no, it is not in the system for delivery, you tell me that each time. It may be in your records but it is stuck somewhere and I expect you to find out where. At the moment, all that is happening is your system is automatically updating the delivery dates to take account of the fact it has not been delivered. Please contact the courier company to look into it further.

After my rant, they in fact did look into it and tracked it down and after that it arrived within a couple of days. You have to stop them reciting the auto script and get them to see there is actually a problem and do something about it. That will involve them contacting the courier company they hired.

Good luck.

Re: Sendle been losing your parcels too?

We have never bothered with anyone else but Australia Post.

Not worth the hassle and angst to use cut rate couriers, no one else has the same coverage across Australia,  and they also have a very good customer service record with us. I think over the last 10 years+ that we have used them could count on 10 fingers the problems/missing/broken items. Really can't fault their service.

Open an Australia Post business account and you will also be able to make use of their volume discounts, so as you go up in sales, your postage will get cheaper.

Wishing you Good luck and lots of sales.

Maybe 'up front'

Until they lose the item

There is a very good reason for their 'cheapness'

Re: Sendle been losing your parcels too?

I haven't sold anything on ebay for years until the other day. I saw ebay promoting Sendle and thought i'd give it a go as i don't leave the house.

They picked up my parcel and never took it to the depot.

They have essentially stolen my property.

I'm out of pocket $560

After nearly 20years of ebay I'm about ready to pull the plug

Re: Sendle been losing your parcels too?

That is 100% up to you

Just because eBay promote them doesn't mean go ahead and use them if you don't know a thing about the company

A quick look at the forum would have shown how 'good' they are

If you do decide to keep the things you have listed listed please be careful

High priced items like those from someone who looks to be inexperienced to any scammer having 'a quick look' is going to be very attractive to such people

Also, if you do stay, hopefully you have fully completed sign up to Managed Payments and have been verified to sell, and read up on all the changes since you last sold

And especially don't risk Sendle again, no matter what 'eBay suggests'
