Every time I sit down to do some listings, I get stuck reading the forums. all this time passes, and it's time to get up and stretch my legs..
Ebay want's to look generous with all these listings, knowing ful well it's impossible, even more so that we have to painstakingly check every listing for errors. Doesn't help that their auto fill function for item specifics fills in without asking, and many times it needs to be removed as it's not quite correct! And often when you go to make changes, at least on my computer, especially with postage etc, it jumps back to what it was before, and if you don't see that, or forget to look, as with the specifics, you may be in trouble later!
I think i better get off the boards. Still have 9500 listings to go and don't like to do anything on Sundays

Be very careful I got a slap for uploading a duplicate listing. I had uploaded about 20 listings there were all showing hours later except one, so thinking I hadn't uploaded that one I went to my shopfront and searched and yep it didn't bring up anything. Silly me goes and uploads the missing one , well within the space of about 1/2 hour I get a slap for duplicate listing.

Glad you mentioned the prices and stuff changing back to what they were first off. That has driven me nuts all afternoon.
You can alter a price from $12 to $9 and then sit there and watch it morph back to $12. Change it again....watch....watch..it stays at $9 so you go to scroll down the page and back to $12 it goes.
Urck.

Go figure!! I reported a seller for having an auction listing
that was duplicated 17 times!! Ebay left them alone and they ran
the full 10 days - all 17 of 'em.
I had to laugh when none sold.

I wonder how they get away with it.

He would state "suits Holden Astra" on one, "suits Holden Vectra" on the next, and so on, right through literally hundreds of different models of cars and trucks, and in so doing, made it virtually impossible for anybody else listing in that category to get a look in, let alone sell anything.
When I complained about it to eBay about it I was told that as unfair as it seemed, there was absolutely nothing they could do to prevent him from listing in that manner, and anyway, why would they even bother when they're happily making a $1.50 listing fee for every single insertion?

If so, they should have been removed immediately.
If they weren't, I'd definitely be asking eBay why not.

Seen that CQ but I'm looking at listings that have no difference in the title at all I mean they are identical in every way
That's a ditto from me too. And the 17 that I reported were in collectables -
so no listing fee there.
There was another at the same time, listed 5 auctions exactly the same.
No response from ebay on that one either.
I reported them twice and then gave up. Mind you, I had to go to the trouble
of reporting every item individually. Took a chunk of time to do 22 of 'em!!
Won't bother in future.

Why are you so worried about other peoples' listings that you feel the need to dob them in 22 times?
