Good morning.
I was just wondering if there is a protocol in place for when a member is able to start selling? For example: do I need to have a certain number of feedback from buying items?
I have a few items such as household items, books, dvds and a couple of pick up items also that I'd like to get rid of.
Obviously as a new member with only 1 feedback so far people might be wary. I am purchasing some lower cost items to try to build up feedback score.
thank you in anticipation of your advice and tips.

No, but you obviously read site map. Despite it being out-of-date and misleading.

Thank you lyndal1838. But like I said yesterday I can't recollect my id back in 2007 as I never used it when we moved. I did join a couple of cat forums a year or so ago but those user names were to do a breed of cat I decided I would buy one day (Maine Coone) and relatively easy to remember plus I have the same password for those forums also. Alas my old 'cat whatever' id has faded away into oblivion in my rapidly aging brain.
As for signature tags being deep and meaningful, well to me mine is. Life is very much like a box of chocolates and on some days is full of delicious surprises and treats. Other days it's like emptying my cats litter box. I know what I will find there and it's certainly not chocolate! Hehe!
And as Miss Grumpy Cat is my user name her images are a part of that I would have thought, as for her somewhat jaded look on life that is quoted.
The Caturday thread sounds like fun. I have some cute photos of my cat which I would love to share. I won't share here though because I'm not about to sell him.
Many thank yous again.
My original question has been answered and I've learnt a few things along the way.

Heya Grumpy Cat ๐
Some posters do prefer a seperate ID for buying/selling/posting on these boards, in fact, some of them have quite a few different ID's for *posting on these boards*.
I couldnt be bothered with all that rubbish! What a lot of fuss.
They want their lives kept *secret* from the rest of us here, yet then go on to expose their entire life stories to one and all on these boards!
Go figure hey! ;\
Anyway mate, at the end of the day, its up to you. Its your ID, your Siggie, and your decission. ๐
Welcome aboard ..... :-x

I wouldn't worry about feedback score. I doubt most buyers look at feedback. If the item looks good, it's reasonably priced, has a good description and all of those things that help it sell, it should sell. Everyone starts somewhere. Besides, I'm not sure buyer feedback shows when you're selling an item. Could be wrong though.

Thank you Jane, you are very nice. I've been reading the community forums a lot over the past few days and my eyebrows have certainly lifted at times with some of the contributions by people.
zenremix777 anyone can see feedback unless it's private. I have been able to see feedbacks from any sellers here and that includes their feedback when they have bought something too. When buying stuff on here in the past and just recently I made sure I examined feedback from sellers to make sure they were good. There are tabs Feedback as a Buyer, Feedback as a Seller and All Feedback.
If there were two identical items selling for the same price from two different sellers and one was from someone who had bad feedback and the other from someone with better feedback then I would pick from the better one.
I think my question has been well and truly answered.
Can I ask for this to be closed now as I am happy with my question being answered? Is there an option for this?

No grumpy, you cannot close this thread. It is on an open forum and can be posted on by anyone at any time....you may well find it resurrected in a few months time if someone wants to ask the same question.
The only way to "close" a thread is to have the original question reported (or do it yourself). In this case the thread will just disappear into thin air.

that grumpy cat sure if funny/cute and so typical of some cats (I am more a dog person myself). I just hope you took the pics of the cat yourself...or have the photographer's permission to use the pics. Copyright etc.
Simon's Cat is good for a laugh, can be found easily enough

chezzy the photos are plastered all over the internet of Grumpy Cat, not to mention people making Tshirts and bumper stickers with her face (the one in my profile) featured.
I've asked on her Facebook page, the one run by her owners, if I was able to share and use the images posted there and they have no issue with them. None of the images they release show any copy-write logo or watermark either.
And with so many different memes all made from the same photo and shared by Grumpy Cats page I doubt very much that they will have an issue with my using her picture.
I think they are just proud and pleased to have Tard so famous.
