I posted an item to sell - clearly noted the postage charge as $15.00. Item was sold - when I go to send the invoice, it now states postage is $9.40. Yet profile of my item clearly states this.
If I send an invoice to buyer - will I have to manually change postage charge to $15? Even this $15 is a reduced postage charge so not happy at having it reduced further.

@lotzrgood wrote:See my original post. Under the amount $70, it clearly states, and is viewable my end, - postage "buyer pays $15.00".
If I had stated postage of $9.40, where does this $15 come from? Very confusing.
If you have already sent an updated invoice, the postage on your side will update as well - your OP implied an invoice hadn't been sent yet, but that is one way the original postage amount and the currently displayed postage amount on the order details once sold can be different.

I have seen your original post, several times, but it does not equate to what your sold item is showing.
Please provide the listing number that shows postage as $15.00

This will not end well, I fear.
I see a neg, or at the very least, a neutral coming on.

Seems a poor trade-off for $5. If I was the buyer, I would have paid and no invoices would have been possible. If I was the seller, I would suck it up and edit my listings.

I agree, I would cop the $5.60 loss to keep my buyer happy. It could be an eBay issue, but I don't think so, I think might ba a listing issue that may happen with the other listings as well.

It's less than that, kat. The reduced fees from the reduced postage would be more than 60c.

I do not know where or how you are seeing $15.00 Could you possibly be viewing a previous sale, obsolete ended listing. Can you possibly provide a listing number that shows where you are seeing this $15.00 postage.
Has your current sale been relisted using the sell similar option, with the postage charge included at $9.40
as relates to a number of your sold and current listings.
When I look at the listings from the main search page, some of them show $9.40 postage.
However, when I click on them, the 2 listings for sale both show $14.00 in the postage cost areas.
The sold listing the OP is talking about shows $9.40 on the main search page, but $15.00 in the body of the listing.
I did look at them in an incognito window, as I get sick of items I look at from the forums showing in my recently viewed, so maybe that's why.

Oh cheers dave
I am starting to think this might be an eBay error somehow, coz obviously the OP has proof in the form of a pic of what she see's, yet we are seeing this:
Original Listing
Ended Listing

I checked all three and all three matched in the pstage area and the listings - hoping the OP will come back and let us know what she see's if she goes in as a guest, rather than the seller.
This is getting curiouser and curiouser

Wide-world-of-stamps, I see $9.40 in the body of the listing too, like others here... Maybe it depends on location? Some sellers say that postage may vary according to location/state and to contact them before paying in order to pay the correct amount, or they say that postage is for NSW or VIC and that the final amount may vary.
But if they say to "contact" them so that they can adjust the amount, the indicated postage must not adjust automatically according to state, so I don't know why some of us see 15 and others 9.40.
