Hi
Lately I have a lot of buyers requesting a combined invoice fpr multiple purchases AFTER they have completed the checkout specifying payment by 'other'.
Once the checkout process is completed I have no option to send a combined invoice.
This is an old problem but seems to hbe happening a lot more often nowaays. I', wondering if ebay has mades some chenge to the checkout process, like asking for immediate payment?
It would be nice if there was a solution for this - like if you could mark the item unpaid in seller manager maybe?
The present system is a royal PITA.

Another eBay glitchy process.
You can reset checkout by sending a revised invoice from each individual purchase and then when you have done this with the buyers checkout choice cleared, you should be able to send a further "final" combined invoice with all of their purchases together.
IMO its best to give the buyer the heads up they are about to get a flurry of invoices so you can offer them combined post on the last one you send.

I ask buyers to use the information in the listing or checkout to make payment unless they are bidding on other items and want combined postage. I also say that combined postage discounts are given on items ending within 7 days and paid for on a single invoice which SHOULD make it pretty clear that they should not go through checkout without waiting for a combined invoice.

thankyou thecatspjs
I will try your method and see how it goes.
It just frustrates me that ebay seems to be in a constant state of flux. Whatever happened to the old rule if it aint broke dont fix it?
Its hard enough keeping up with the constant changes, let alone the fact that most of them appear to do nothing but break a system that sort of works.
So very frustrating!
