I have to agree never had a missing postcode, it's always spelling or the capital city in the suburb box

only problems I have ever had on Click and Send (and Ive been using it since it started) is when the buyer doesnt know how to spell their own suburb or switches the words around, like Western Marrickville instead of Marrickville West.

search google maps can often locate street in correct suburb. Sometimes buyers mess suburbs if they are borderline. If you have to put diff suburb than buyer address. Eg buyer puts East Sydney, when that isnt offical suburb, then put in box what AP will accept and in the address line put address as per official paypal addy. That way you have paypal addy on there as well as what auto sorting will accept. Usually obvious to delivery centre when it gets there what you mean

hi everyone
Thank you for all your info, I have reported the missimg postcode to c&s.
I ended up sending by normal AP a little more expensive but at least its gone,

I doubt AP will allocate a postcode to a nonexistent suburb.

I had one a while back, so I just put in a postcode it would accept, then crossed it out after printing and hand wrote the correct postcode in. It got where it was going OK.
But Oh so annoying, especially the state defaulting.

This link to the Post Code search is handy when using C&S, save it in your favourites ๐

I had all sorts of postcode issues when I first used C&S: it felt like I spent two half-days on their support line, but they are very good.
One issue was that my OWN postcode was upsetting the system: I had my own address as Suburb-city- suburb postcode. The beast was happier with me after I removed the city bit and just left suburb and postcode- I had to change it in my eBay profile, because that's where C&S get it from.
The phone number for their help line is on the back of the satchels, and they answer pretty fast. Not like calling Centrelink !

What's really staggering is how many people don't have the correct address on file
it's a credit to AP that so much arrives safely
