Just got my first parcel ready to send through sendle but not sure about the tracking number and what to put in eBay.
I have a reference number and a tracking URL but can not work out how either would satisfy eBay can anyone who is currently using them let me know what you do to make sure both Ebay and Paypal are satisfied.

That was funny just after I posted this I got a knock on the door and it was fastways deliveries with a load of sacthels I had orders. The driver spent a lot of time going over pick-ups drop off and confirming where the tracking number was.
SO I have the tracking number but still not sure what to put into the tracking info for ebay atm I have the tracking number and just put sendle where it asks for Carrier but that does not give a link so the buyer can track from ebay.
Was nice to talk to the fastway driver made me feel good not only will my buyers get a better service but I will be helping a local business to. Really hope this works out

I checked for Couriers Please and couldn't find it listed in eBay's service but just check for whichever company you're sending the parcel with. eBay has quite a few there.

I tried fastway and toll (remember that is 2 couriers used) but no luck just tried courier please and got 'No scan events found' which makes sense as it has not been picked up yet I will try after it is picked up and just put which courier it is with in the carriers box the buyer will then have all the info they need at least and that should be ok for eBay. I am pretty sure the buyer gets an email with the URL for sendles tracking so just a matter of trying to please Ebay really

They get a few, each with a clickable button to track the order (I had someone send via Sendle earlier in the year).
I wouldn't worry about "pleasing eBay", TBH - not even all Aus Post services are integrated with eBay, and they mention that only eBay labels will be automatically included in the shipping metric, so it doesn't matter much in so far as that is concerned, plus some courier scans don't count as lodgement according to eBay, so you can actually get a package picked up same day, but not get an "in transit" scan a couple of days later and be rewarded with a late shipping defect.

If I did not worry about pleasing eBay I would have no worries in my life ๐ I have 3 days handling time might knock it up to 5 until I get the hang of how things works and hopefully want get any defects.If I am still trading, on eBay, in a couple of weeks it willmean Iworked it out.

If you are into pleasing eBay, then I highly recommend upping your handling time to 5 days. Since I've done that, I've never looked back. I don't really give 2 hoots what eBay thinks, but the buyers are very happy. Everything arrives before the last estimate. In fact, nearly everything arrives before the first estimate date.
The amount of messages I have received from buyers being over the moon because it arrived before the first estimate date is incredible. I rarely got those messages before. The trick is to keep posting the same or next day (which I think you already do any way?).
The last 2 weeks in my house has seen a lot of upheaval, so some things haven't been posted for 3 days, but they have still arrived within the estimate time. I find that a lot of buyers don't look at the handling time, they look at when stuff is sent and what the estimate date is.

Mine was at 3 days and have changed it to 5, until I get use to the change. 100% agree about getting glowing feedback about postage time with handling times and do love it. I do post the same/next day but have to see how it goes with couriers put the first ones in today but they will not be picked up until tomorrow. Hoping once I get going I can just give them everything I have when they pick up. As I am lucky or unlucky depending how you look at it I am on the end of the run so my pick up will be 3:45-4:45ish so any order during the day will go the same day.
I did change my handling time to 5 days over Christmas and 1 other time and made no difference to sales at all.The other good thing about handling is, as you say, when/if things get hectic in RL you have a bit of leeway on eBay
