I have only just returned to selling on ebay after a break of over a year. I have sold quite a few items but now I can't find where they are, that is I mean after I have left feedback I used to put them into my sold items, now I find there is ARCHIVED ITEMS . When I check them in this Archived thing there is nothing in there. Am I doing something wrong?
I used to be able to check on sold items either in my Sold Items or in my deleted items, but now can't find this.

All archived items completely disappear after 90 days (that is the time period the eBay servers are prepared to hold them for). I still get burnt all the time when I forget to keep a saved copy of my listings text on my computer. If you don't save them or use turbolister (which keeps a copy), they will be deleted and you will need to rewrite them.
A way around this is to put your store on holidays (with the 'hide all listings' option). Your items will keep ticking over each month for the duration of your holiday/break. It won't cost you anything (except your monthly store fee) as long as the listings are within your free listing limit. For example, 80 free listings per month for a Basic Store. When you return from holidays, your listings will still be there behind the scenes, and you won't have lost them. You simply make them active again when you take your store off 'holiday mode'.

Are you talking about items sold in the last sixty days or items sold a long time ago?
The default listings in My Ebay are often as short as one week when setting up active items, sold, unsold items etc. but I max them out to sixty days. This is only workable for items up to sixty days.
for the longer term ones I am unsure how to do archiving etc.
Somebody else will need to tell you that way.
With the supposed anti duplicate rules I find it better not to have listings too old as if I relist say a round tuit, sell it and then relist another the next month then I can get pinged for having 2 round tuits for sale.

Thank you for your replies. There used to be a Deleted items in there but that seems to have disappeared. I have onluy just retrurned to selling this years, so 90 days doesn't really apply. I have given feedback etc,. I used to be able to delete these items, but then could go back and find them, but with this Archived thing the items just seem to disappear.
I have gone into my completed items via my store and hvae found them there. Thanks once again to tose who found the time to answer me.
