the roll out of ebay managed payments

i'm sure a lot or most of you probably received the managed payments email this morning. in case you didn't, or missed here - ebay is rolling out managed payments later in the year with pre-registration opening shortly.

Ours generally change to completed after about 24-36 hours, then payment is sent to our bank account very early the following morning.  It's generally in our bank account before lunch.

At the moment all sales from yesterday are still processing, but those from earlier in the week say completed.  EDIT - and funds have been transferred to our account.

If they waited for some of our buyers to confirm delivery or leave feedback we'd never get the money!

Only for 1 higher priced item.

The others were sent as letters without tracking.

I dont have time to read all these pages and i cant find anything googling.

Does ebay recomend sending your order out while its still processing or after its finnished?

Seems like if i wait, my customers are never getting there orders.

Yes eBay managed payment chat confirms that funds remain pending for 2 business days after a sale which is eBay's processing time. Tracking is not relevant nor are funds held pending confirmation that the item has been received. after the 2 dyas funds are then available to be transferred to the seller's bank account

eBay say to send the order once eBay receives clear payment. If the order is in awaiting postage then you post.

Oh ok, so if the status under the Payments tab is Processing but under  the Orders tab it is waiting shipping.

Then send it?

Packing up order now is so confusing - Before i would just send everything from the one paypal page!!

This is definitely not true.    Nothing to do with confirmed delivery or feedback.    You will receive an email from ebay saying "we've sent your payment"   and in 1 or 2 or 3 days (depending on your bank) you will see the money in your account.   In my case it was 3 days but I am with a credit union so that might make a difference.   Other sellers are reporting different days, some as low as 24  hours.

And in my case I send as soon as I get an email from ebay saying "your item has sold and it has been paid for"

Ps:  unless  you are a very new seller, in which case ebay are going to hold your money for 21 days.
