why sellers on ebay do not create their own association to protect and promote their rights?

Just imagine, thousands of little stores amalgamating into one anchor store, code of conduct enforced.

Software to take care of the background accounting for sales, each person contributing a fraction of what they would have paid ebay. 

Normal accounts as a side hobby. 

Can't see why ebay would complain, they like big stores after all they will get $500 for it's monthly existence plus FVF and be none the wiser.

Oh, doesn't ebay also work this way? Silly me, it's already been thought of.

Ebay sellers need their own website! here they afraid to open their mouth. I understand it!
We CAN create our own website! It is easy, very easy! It costs less than $1.00 per week.
There are many free programs to create our own forums. Many free plug ins to make easier the management of our website.
We can put some basics rules to avoid problems with ebay as who could become member of the association and how, who could write on the website and how, who could manage the website and how?
We can create a special password protected directory, to write far of the eyes of non members. We can create an email list and give the chance to our members to communicate each other from the website or out of it.
The biggest problem to create our own website is to find the persons, the honest, mature, responsible persons to manage the website. We do not know each other, we do not know howe credible, how mature are the persons who could like to undertake this kind of responsibilities.
We have to control our steps but simultaneously we have to speed up our steps if we want to create an association of ebay sellers.
